Got the early 6/24 Victory Cry skill after over an hour of fusion attempts...as if Very Easy difficulty wasn't easy enough lol (Sorry for insane UI navigating)
If you are having trouble because this gives 7 possible slots to select Ukobach (Devil) and Mokoi (Death) only give one learnable slot making it a 25% chance Tetrakarn is picked. Then it’s RNJesus from there as there are 20+ something skills Tetrakarn can turn into.
Since the post I replied to is somewhat buried some additional info for making this somewhat easier/more rewarding. As you said make it a 25% chance and get Tetrakarn to change to absolutely anything. Fuse it with Angel and inherit the skill Tetrakarn changed to and then fuse with Pixie to come back to the star(t) . This time you have 2 skills that can potentially change to victory cry. You can repeat this step for more Tetrakarn tier skills. Do note this does take a significant portion of the challenge out of the dungeons around that time so make of that what you will.
Took me two hours but got spell master and arms master with victory cry. It felt really lucky cos I messed up and forgot to level up my main char to 24 to make kaiwan by 6/24.
I did this on the Nintendo switch on a different “random skill” day in late July on Kaiwan and can vouch it still works. I had no success for the first session I tried for ~4 hours, because Tetrakarn was rarely selected as the skill to change. On my second session attempting this, I got it within 10 minutes as the RNG selected Tetrakarn to change multiple times in a row.
Well when you're trying to get a specific move to pop up and you do the same menu selections for 2 hours straight it's a little pointless to "take your time" lol
I know this kind of thing takes a while, but if I get a skill that is useful but isn't victory cry and I want to fuse him away for later, what's a good Persona to fuse kaiwan too?
Make sure you do it on "skill change" day. You can see it on fusion forecast. The day usually people doing this is June 24th. (Same day you're unlocking rise's dungeon. Also the cheapest material is ukobach (lv3) x ghoul (lv9)
Managed to do it, but OH MY GOD nobody told me it was going to take that long! I ended up going the more advance route, where you basically have three high level skills that can transform into Victory Cry. But it's so worth it though. All of my Ultimate Persona now have VC, and I haven't even unlocked Lucifer yet.
The idea here is that you need a day with "Skill Change" forcast and be level 23. So generally 6/24 is the earliest possible date you can do this. Skill Change will take a random skill and change it into a random skill of the same "tier". Tetrakarn is the earliest skill you can get that's in the same tier as Victory Cry. There's also a ton of other useful skills in there. The person who uploaded actually made a massive mistake here, you really want base level Lilim or Ukobach as well as Goul so that you only get 1 additional skill so you have a 25% chance of Tetrakarn changing. OP had 7 so ~15% chance of Tetrakarn. This can take you over an hour to even with a 25% chance so the extra 10% is super worth it. EDIT: Found the loop. This costs a little more but it gets your chance of a tier 7 skill changing way up high: Fuse Kaiwan with Ukobach and Goul (only 1 additional skill = 4 skills max = 25% chance of Tetrakarn changing) - make sure Tetrakarn changes Fuse Kaiwan with Angel to get Andra - inherit the changed skill Fuse Andra with Pixie - inherit the changed skill to get Kaiwan again You now have 2 Tetrakarn level skills on Kaiwan. For a bonus save scum the last step and make Tetrakarn change again. Fuse with Angel and Pixie again, you now have 3 Tetrakarn level skills so over 50% chance of a Tetrakarn tier skill to change. When you can fill out all inherited skills with former Tetrakarn skills when fusing Kaiwan is when you have the maximum chance to get Victory Cry.
