Max Mittleman reminds me of Rick Gomez who voiced Zack Fair from the Final Fantasy 7 series, some of their lines could be super cheesy but their delivery is top notch and it doesn’t seem cringey anymore. This is pure talent.
He is really so good as Ryuji. Honestly though everyone brings their A game in Persona 5, I cant think of a single character that doesn't have a totally spot on voice.

You know what, I'm kind of upset that in Persona, that they don't have an option for MC to play cupid and hook up the team mates with each other. I mean, in Fire Emblem, you could do such a thing, so such game mechanics aren't unheard of. You don't have to just focus on your relationship - you could play cupid for others. It's obvious Ryuji and Ann have some sort of chemistry together. As an MC, you don't have a preference - the player chooses who to go after. But why should MC have the relationships all to themselves? Be a wingman and hook up your friends. I would love to see that. It would even open up to even further mechanics, like if lovers are on a team, they do better, or can cover the other more effectively. Team up attacks would also be better, kind of like how Showtime mechanics are in Royal. Would it be so difficult?
Yes and no, FE and PRSN are vastly different games and have systems that don't really allow for such a mechanic AS IS...(FYI I lost my FE games and I haven't played them for a long while so any mistakes in my FE statements are because of that) FE has a wide array of characters that can be deployed at once and ALL move in ONE turn, there are different heights, ranges etc. Pair up is making the characters get closer(Your avatar is making them get together, they are making them work together and you, the player/God, are making them have a relationship) and give various stat bonuses. Pair up is essentially allowing you to split characters across the map and get bonuses such as if you have a spear user and the other uses a sword you switch which is the vanguard to get the match up better and gain the advantage. PRSN is turn based where 1 character moves per turn and all are fighting side by side at all times and are thus helping each other. The player is a student who has to focus on his/her own life and every character is their own, the only time when you influence their actions is during S Links and preset story events. The ideas you recommended are FE focused and thus lack balance, for example, covering (which I assume is blocking or pushing the other out of the way) would be broken in PRSN since if you had the MC, their lover and the last two characters are lovers then that means that no matter who is targeted the odds of taking heavy damage or ANY damage at all would be DRASTICALLY reduced and would basically allow you to steamroll through the game. Pair up also make it so that both share health so if one dies, both die. PRSN doesn't have team attacks except showtimes and those aren't all with characters that could have a relationship AND even if they could, you focus on yourself because that allow you to learn abilities that will benefit everyone.
Lastly PRSN has the free time mechanic which FE doesn’t, in FE to raise a support lvl you pair them up for a few fights, and in between stages you can do as many support events as you want and can, in PRSN each day has free time which limits what you can do and the more you progress the more you can do with the limits being less restraining. In FE Your avatar(or whomever is the tactician) is making them get together, they are making them work together and you, the player/God, are making them have a relationship the Avatar has nothing to do with how the fall in love besides letting them fight beside each other, PRSN they are technically always fighting side by side and the MC can't affect their lives because you are living your life in free time as it's basically a life sim game for the MC Because of how different combat is in general making a real for other characters is impossible especially since you can't really affect who like who unless you chaperone which could be either a waste of free time or a broken system. Would it be cool, maybe but the game would likely be VERY different and that could possibly through some players off...
Why are people so judgmental about romancing Futaba? She's not actually the MC's sister and she's only a year younger than him. I'm more concerned about the people who ship him with the adult characters. Kawakami, the doctor, etc.

@Kasumi Yoshizawa Even when looking at her mother, she was doing more corrupt and messed up things than any of the other people Joker has to deal with the other confidants. She has all the requirements of having a palace but since Hifumi Confidant is optional and not related to the plot, the game just made her a sub-boss in Momentos. I just realized she is the only other person besides Mishima that was around the phantom thieves age.
When I first played this part. I was thinking either Makoto or Ann I chose Ann then I chose makoto. But Ann really is cute ruyji is 100% right about that!

Ryuji x Ann are the best couple in the game. The biggest opposition I see about them use the arguments "it implies friends of the opposite sex can't have a non sexual relationship", when Ryuji still have Futaba, Haru and Makoto as friends of the opposite sex while Ann have Joker and Yusuke. They also use Ryuji rejecting her as example, ignoring the fact that he did that because in his own words she was acting like an anime girl by using dates as rewards. It only showed he has self respect and knows Ann well and expects better from her, things that are very important for any kind of relationship to work for both ways.

The only times I love Morgana are when he is being happy over treasure, being sad over the fact that Makoto calls him a cat, and being irritated when being carried by Joker.
I appreciate the Makoto loyalty here with that first choice, BUT ANN! That pure blushing look of surprise! Also I love how we have 2nd evidence of Ryuji still confirming that Ren and Futaba are siblings.
I’ve gone through multiple playthroughs and I hate to be the guy that says it but Makoto’s and Haru’s confidants were the least satisfying. I’m really hoping that Royale gives all 4 of the phantom thieves waifus their much needed love time with MC even after their confidants are maxed. Btw I’m all for Futaba due to Sojiro being one of the best bros in the game and I’ll give Ann 2nd cuz I have a soft spot for the love confidant due to Rise being my first best girl from Persona 4. When I did play Persona 3 the first time it was all about Mitsuru but after playing the epilogue it felt wrong not going for Yukari. These damn waifus are all so precious so it hard to say no to them.
Yeah yukari was a choice mc and her were literally hinted as a couple in most of the story until aigis came then it went into a direction mostly the story and didn’t do much of mc and yukari and also that yukari was a concept of femc she was supposed to be the opposite but similar to Minato as yukari was more social and had more emotional (too emotional might I add) to he peers while minato was just distant and didn’t show much emotion true Mitsuru and fuuka were different interest in minato view on them but those 2 like him for being smart and confident and doing nice things for them as Mianto did so to comfort and help them with their problems while with yukari they were just best friends they fell in love due to how unique they are to each other as yukari was developing her feelings she finally found someone who made her happy after losing her father and lost her mother to other men she had no one but herself and others hating on her but after years of growing up she left and ran away from it and tried to start a new lifestyle but her new way of life was connected to the incidents that ruined her old lifestyle but Mianto was their despite the many awkward things he had done unintentionally she loved the man after the being by his side above the moonlight in the sandy beaches of Yakushima and once she saw how much he cared by defending her from bad people she loved again and turned her friendship into a relationship and she loved him and then lost him it’s sad she said he changed her life

Just gotta say. Probably the only Jrpg iv played where i perfer the Dub. Normally the sub is soooo much better in everything but the voice acting in P5 is crazy good. Credit to the VAs
