Everyone had the option to go romantically or not in the ferris wheel(excluding the guys of course), but no matter what you do you'll still end up going on a date with Haru
omg they finally gave us the family angle option with futaba , I've always wondered how in p5 from the answers and options you get its clear she is either a friend or a romantic interest but not the option that makes most sense which is sister
And her being a sister to the protag is again not what makes more sense. It's kinda dumb the people treat her like little sister just because she is short. People act like she is WAAAY younger than the rest of the cast when in reality she is just one one year younger than everyone else. She is the exact same age as Kasumi. In fact I think they said that Futaba is older by a few months tho I might be wrong. She is the same age as Naoto was in P4G. It's fine if you see her as a sister but don't say the family option is the one that makes the most sense just because you did it. It's very clear in Futaba's confidant and out of her confidant that she likes or has a crush on the protag just like most of the other girls. She is the same age and around the same height as Naoto was in P4G. They are both the genius characters of their games. Again if you see her as a sister then that's fine. But dont say she automatically is one just cause she is a year younger than the rest of the party.
So this is a minor issue I have with this game, that it couldn't acknowledge the romantic partner you picked in the previous one. It would have been nice if the game could have asked at the start "Hey, who did you pick" and just have little bonus scenes and minor tweaks to dialogue to show that you have (or had at least) a romantic relationship with one of them. This is assuming you picked one of them in the first game and not one of the other options.
I would have loved it too. And then for the people who wanted to stay loyal to a non-teammate girlfriend they could have just added an option to not ride the Ferris wheel at all. Or I would have liked the option to carry over my save file Mass Effect style. (There's already bonuses for having a Royal save file at all!) But that would have been more complicated to do and the game is like half the size of the first one. Of course the other issue is that in the first game, the romantic relationship you choose is always secret. (And the only reason was so you could cheat.) So if the carry over thing was an option then this scene would have just been more of the same secret relationship shit. When honestly it would be more fun if the characters were allowed to acknowledge your choice and respect you for it...
I wish there was something like at the beginning of the game Ryuji or someone asks you if you should spend time with your girlfriend after being apart for so long, and you can either respond with “that’s a good idea”, and then proceed to talk to whoever you picked in P5, or you can respond with “sure- oh wait, I don’t have one.”
I relate to 9:18 Covid hit during my second semester of college. I had to go through half of 2nd semester, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th semester fully online. When college became normal again at 7th semester and meeting up with my friend, this is how I exactly felt. Some already have their gf and bf. Some already done with their internship. Some has started their undergraduate thesis. Some even graduated half a year early. I totally felt like i was left behind and not making any progress for those 2.5 years. Now i'm on my 8th (supposedly last) semester. I hope i can catch up to them, finish my undergrad thesis and graduate.

that one reason i hate Morgana in P5 and Royal hes all over Ann like some creep he doesnt treat the other girls like that and they are JUST as sexy as Ann is but no he dont call them anything but always perving out on Ann its always Lady Ann this Lady Ann that it's freaking annoying
Why I chose the bois: 1. It's gonna be funny. 2. Sophia in the background will make it funnier. 3. Morgana gets no interaction with Ann again. 4. Yusuke might get new inspiration and ramble some weird things. (It didn't happen)
Im glad that P5S continues the tradition set by FF7 of having a bunch of romantic ferris wheel rides, and then that one "SATURDAY IS FOR THE BOYS" option, easily the best trope
I wish they added Sumire, and if Atlus does that then I would pick her on the ferris wheel date, but they didn't. So in my first playthrough at the ferris wheel part, I just pick Futaba and I dont say something romantic to her.

similar case with me lmaoo. I chose the boys but wanted to experience the other options and I was willing to redo the boss fight buut I accidentally put another save file over it instead of loading smh

My opinion. You don't have to agree. Futaba; Little sister route Ann; Joking Buddy Route. Makato; The Girlfriend Material Route Haru; The Awesome Supportive Friend Route The Guys; "Three bros chilling in a cart. Five inches apart cause they are not gay... There is also a cat involved."
Makoto's is the only one, if Ren answers her question if its a date, to neither deny it nor deflect, just acting like they never lost a beat after all this time. Honestly that and the fact that her menu is the Bond menu speak volumes.
Yeah me and my best friend from school once went on a ferris wheel while we were celebrating sum1s bday at a fair, needless to say it was a awkward and horrible mistake just like the in-game scene lmao (the one where u pick the guys)
