This is one of my favorite emotional pieces, so I decided to play it as the next HD remake (I've played it long ago, uploaded on my deleted account). It has a BIIIIIG finale, as well towards the end of the video. Not to mention, the Persona animation just premiered. :D
This arrangement is based on sheet music, and improvised in some parts. Though still largely based on the sheets.

Forget? Nah fam. I just sit on that couch and hang a moment, allowing the day to fall away. Without the stress of the world on your shoulders, you can more easily peer into the soul, and see what your heart requires.

I finally have Persona 3 and 4 and I fell madly in love with this song. I've been a tenor in choir for about 7 years, and one of my goals was to sing the Aria of the Soul, and guess what? I did it! I can match a soprano now! xD

no, she didn't. tenor is a male voice type. I did not assume narutofffreak's gender either, she just said she's a soprano, that shows us she's a girl.

someone tried to do Belladonna's Singing.... for those who do not know canonically Belladonna and Nameless do the velvet room theme Nameless is the pianist and Belladonna does the singing, a dev interview confirms that in every persona game after 2 they're actually hidden out of sight in the velvet room and they still play the velvet room, for if they weren't there, there wouldn't be a velvet room theme

@Animenzzz Wow, thanks man. I didn't really expect that kind of response! But yes, it is an extremely beautiful piece. This video is actually the second version, because when I reviewed the first recording, I was subconsciously doing so much rubato that the momentum was totally wrecked. Are you planning on recording this as well?

This is the most accurate rendition/cover on all of RU-vid. Every single one, even the ones with sheet music, always get that one note in the first measure wrong and it irritated me to know end. I've been watching this video over and over again for years to try and learn to play it and this is the only one available that gets the entire song right. Kudos.

Because this song is tied up to the persona lore, in persona 2, there are another velvet room guest, nameless and balledonna, they play this song to "calm" the demon. Cmiiw
