That actually wasn't the most difficult thing here really, Nico's original drawings were good, but it is technically just a 7 frame loop. Even the spots on ose's fur wasn't that bad, because I just made a pattern brush to circumvent drawing all the spots individually. Demifiend's tattoos were actually a lot more difficult because I had to draw them manually based off of how the body is shaped lol.

Smt concept definitely sounds more interesting although it's not surprising why (modern) Persona got higher ratings cuz it attracted the attention of anime fans (typically the people who's into youth highschool stuff). They say it's somehow relatable and good for escaping reality cuz there's no 3-6 girls irl that will go after you after hanging out with them a few times

@@qq-st9xo SMT's concept is much more interesting, but also I feel it needs to be. It's gameplay and narrative coming together is part of what makes SMT special. Persona, on the other hand, lives much more on its characters, with the appeal being forming bonds with, and learning about, those characters. The concepts and even some of the villains are just backdrops for that to happen, so difficulty can't be allowed to be too high. Otherwise people bad at the game might be scared off, even if they love the characters.

Not just in mechanical terms, but especially thematic terms. All of these games deal with topics of transformation, ascension, interpersonal cooperation, examining the state of society, and so forth. In fact, the overarching theme of the entire franchise is examining the relationship between science and superstition, modernity and mysticism, and technology and tradition, and seeing how they connect with one another. Summoning a demon through a computer, taking centuries of esoteric knowledge and essentially truncating it into code was the first example, and it went from there. A website that oracles the imminent deaths of people, a smartphone app that allows one to enter an individual's perception of reality, a virus being likened to a computer virus, and so on.

Very close, but it's not SMT3 that leads to it... The world of SMT1 and 2 leads to one of the future Raidou, Raidou the 40th, jumping back in time to the Raidou Kuzunoha games to try to change the future from a bleak wasteland. While Raidou 40th is defeated, his attempts to change the past did (in some endings) lead to the world of SMT1 being averted... And leads to the birth of the original Devil Summoner games and Shin Megami Tensei: If... (both of which have a major antagonist from SMT1 be stopped before he causes the end of the world.) If... in particular leads to the Persona timeline, as the MC of If... appears in the earlier Persona games. Technically the Kuzunoha Clan, Demon Summoning and such still exists in Persona, but... Atlus doesn't seem to want to connect Persona to it Devil Summoner or the main SMT games.

@@osman_ajmal4011 Yep, sometimes you gotta have those interactions that lighten up the mood. Both Persona and SMT do it, and kinda takes away some of the pressure of the game for a moment. Just to hear these lighthearted or hilarious conversations or scenes.
