I don't feel like the epoxy for the support onto the seat to the legs was a good idea cuz what if you end up wiggling the epoxy loose and support goes up your butt not joking this could be serious
The thing I love about you is your pushing against the boundaries of design. Is it a stool or is it art or is it both? Does it matter? To me it reinforces the fact you're an Artisan.
Nice piece; though the thought of the vertical spring steel support sliding up through the stool seat brings tears to my eyes. I know this can’t happen but the thought won’t go away.
This has happened already to some poor guy. Saw the video. Seriously, this is REALLY hard to watch. It's graphic. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vrbPLnEucp4.html
Good work, I would have holed, and threaded the rods in the middle (at a 60degree angle sothat it would be easier to install the M6 set screw) instead of just relying on epoxy resin to hold the weight.
At the risk of inciting a hate crime, I'm dying to know what you did with the mold...and if it's for sale. (I can't be the only one who thought about this...and if I am, I still wanna know!) I just watched a string of your fantastically edited videos, and of all the very apparent, enviable qualities you possess, it's your craftsmanship I call chief among them. To be creative is one thing, to be skilled is another, to share any of it is rare, to do it all so well even more so, and to look like that while doing it all...almost criminal. I bet you got as many haters as you do fans...but I ask you, is there really much difference? haha. Above all else, it's apparent you've spent a lot of time loving these things you do. I know I'm just another comment from the proverbial peanut gallery, but for what it's worth, it looks like you are living a damn good life. In all seriousness, I find it incredibly inspiring. Надеюсь прутик по центру хорошо закреплен к сидению, а то страшно даже представить на сколько он глубоко войдет в сидящего на нем. Много труда эффект сомнительный.
@@Mr215Alive Excactly what I was thinking. While welding would change the nature of the spring steel, which you'd want to avoid. You could easily weld a cap on the tube that the steel is epoxied into.
Loose the haters, you have skills and you know what you are doing. Another video that I enjoyed watching, thanks for taking the time working on such project and filming/editing it.
This is a really cool project. Did you weld a washer into the top of the tube that holds the spring steel rods? If the epoxy fails we are going to have to nickname you Vlad.
@@eugenevelichko853 (разжую для особо одарённых, с гибким языком) в целом идея хорошая сделать подобное сидение исправив ошибки которые могут привести к штырям в заднице
I thaught the same. The Epoxy or what else he used to glue the sticks in the pipe, will sometimes get loose and then the seat move down with all his bodyweight, while the rods sticking up his ass or somewhere else.
