You are a great teacher! I have watched sooooo many videos and even though some have helped a bit, once i tried the problems on my own ,I got confused. This was simple and to the point. I am so grateful I saw your videos, I honestly was feeling discouraged of taking the test since i didint feel prepared, but I do now. Thank you again.

Hello, sorry if I’m incorrect, but shouldn’t the -9 squared equal positive 81 because a negative 9 times a negative 9 would equal a positive 81? Again, sorry if I’m incorrect and thank you in advance.
I dont know exactly how to explain it, but it would be 81 if we had parenthesis like (-9)squared, but because its just -9 squared without parenthesis, that makes it -81
Love this! Only thing that trips me up is when I'm doing the practice questions on that wonder site you mentioned, is when there's a problem in parenthesis. Example: -12 - (-4). Just confuses me for some reason lol. Other than that, your videos are fantastic, easy to follow, and provides useful resources to practice and improve in these equations.
Parenthesis always take precedence over left to right order ;) Great job at being observant though and noticing something was different than what you expected!! ;) That's a great student/learning quality to have!
I can do this with the proper vehicle , my child in daycare with a yell to the staff but not, and have the projector and teach but then I have to be honest ....
