Hello from an ex-Singaporean in Perth. Big fan cos your vids helped me “taste” Singapore food during travel restrictions. If you have more time in Perth, there are plenty of good food beyond the usual tourist spots.
Wow! Hi Mate! 😁 great to find someone in Perth. What would you recommend these days.. I didn't spend much time in Perth itself.. went back to Ciao Italia at mill point.. fortune duck at vic park. Fortune five at north bridge for dim sum. And a new one shiwei Chinese near churhlands. friends couldn't do without Chinese.. plus I've got to have a table for 14 😂
Dim sum at Pinn Palace Beckenham or Emperor’s Kitchen Leeming. Yup roast pork roast duck at Good Fortune, to die for! KL black hokkien noodles at Big Mama Coventry Market Morley Satay and hawker food at Cambridge International Food Forum Wembley Super juicy melt in mouth char siew mee at Chop Chop BBQ Nasi Lemak at Sedap Place East Vic Park Italian at Ruocco’s South Fremantle Siew pao and egg tart at Master Chang at Spencer Village and Vic Park Pub food at Cabin 401 which is co-located with Cockburn Ice Arena Korean BBQ SSAM Vic Park Korean desserts Brown Spoon next to SSAM Northern Chinese food at Mom’s Dumpling House High Road Willetton Haha big list. If you want anything else specific, call out, mate!
@@onnolab much appreciated 😀 All my used to favourites all disappeared over time.. used to love having pei pa duck. Haha.. Spencer village still around?! Based on your list locarions.. Guess you also have to travel all over in search of good Chinese 😂
You could do a trip to Perth with a Singapore stopover 😃 my fav fish and chips back then was all the way at Albany.. typical old looking shed with super awesome fried shark 😄 Perth changed so much. The malls are all retrofitted.. but it’s still a relaxing place to drive around and chill
I used to sleep by the beach in my younger days there 😅 stars were amazing.. was a little rainy.. so couldn't enjoy the beach as much this time round. But it was so so refreshing to be able to enjoy cold winds again 😁
🥰👍 Are you travelling the whole of Western Australia? I like the southern part which includes Margaret River, Busselton, Esperance and especially Albany too. I've already covered the whole of NSW, South Australia and Western Australia. Planning to go to New Zealand in 2023 /24. Have a wonderful time in Downunder Piggy Puggy 🤗
I was in magaret river and Busselton for sometime.. but was kinda rainy this Jun. Didn't do Pemberton or Albany this time. Have you tried Adelaide too? I haven't been to Tasmania yet
@@Piggypuggy I was the Teaching Assistant Lecturer with the Uni of Adelaide Spore Campus in 2008 after graduating with MBA top scholar from UoA. Before this, I had already been to South Australia and I love the 3 seaside beaches of Glenelg, West Beach and Henley Beach. I didnt choose to stay in Adelaide but booked a seafront resort at Glenelg. Beautiful place with many fun loving Australians filling the place up. I had also been to Hahndorf and even Kangaroo Island, hmmm... it's actually one month in the entire South Australia. 😜😇
@@longevityexperts waaah.. hello lecturer 🤗 must be real nice there. I’ve also been to Adelaide a couple of times. Loved the proximity of everything. Glenelg was beautiful.. remembered hoping on the historic train to the markets in the city. Food at Handrof was spectacular.. you made me miss Adelaide 🥺
@@Piggypuggy I am now doing research on Seafoods which cover Marine and Freshwater Fishes, Abalone, Oysters, Scallops, Lobster, Geoduck shell, Conch shell, Lala in some countries and have scheduled visits (at least 3 months stay each) for the next 5 years to Auckland NZ, S E Japan, Indonesian islands, Southern Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal & Shandong / Fujian China. If in Auckland, I will also be researching on Manuka Honey as one NZ contact and a company from LinkedIn has proposed collaboration with me on Honey and Bee products. South Australia is not within this 5-year travel / visit plan so may be right after. 🥰🤗
Hi, this is regarding your previous post which is a short on welcome back. I'm interested to know where is the handmade banmian stall n the roasted meats stall? Hehe🤣 TQ so much.
Waaahh!! Sweet! Hope the Jam wasn't too bad. Coz now Hari Raya. I was supposed to be in but gave up after checking the causeway traffic. I wanna eat Orh Luak now..
@@Piggypuggy I took the bus in yesterday morning and today i took the train out hahaha and I stayed in holiday inn too waaa I really missed all the jb yummy food hahah so glad to be back in jb eating and shopping
Haha.. I also haven't had enough.. had Haidilao across the street twice.. but Holiday Inn these days so ex...unless it's a weekday where can still get $110. I intend to stay further up and explore the eateries there
@@jinfeng83 it's always nice to explore new places.. just use Google maps and see what's available around that area. And hopefully find some pictures that you'd like to visit. Further in is usually places that the locals would visit 😎
I've still quite some videos but I'm not sure if it's good enough for production.. coz they're those run and gun Shakey holiday videos. 😅😂 And after a while.. I kinda got relaxed and ate everything without remembering to capture it. You like travel videos? 😀
Been about 12 years since I have been back to Perth(was there 88 to 92 at Uni), going back next month in Nov ... Some bits of Freo market looks new ... my go to drink in Perth is also Solo, managed to come across in SG but damn exp ($2.50 for a can), but i had to have some :)
I also bought that damn Solo at great world cold storage. 😂 Freo market looks the same since the early 90s. The men's toilet are the original ceremics since inception 😂 not sure if you're a Curtim.UWA.Murdoch fella.. but dont go back Ten Ten at Albany hwy 🤭.. I'll be back next Mar again 🥳
@@Piggypuggy Haha ... I bgt from GW-CS as well, still have 1 can that I can't bear to finish up ... the food rea that you featured with the coffee looks new ...was Curtin and my wife Murdoch .. oh dear, I thot of gg Ten Ten as was my 1st meal when I got there ... Am planning to go to Sunshine Harvester Works in Freo as my fren has a food stall there and next stall is her nephew's stall, Bumplings
@@patlim9953 I go to Good Fortune roast duck these days.. but for old times sake.. ten ten laa. Still visit the bottle shop across the road. Oh yes.. he food island in between.. I think was about 10 years back when they erected it. Made the food scene more lively there. Haven't been to sunshine harvest works. Only to EShed. Oh.. the food prices gone thru the roof.. 😖 Booragoon still looks the same.. 😂 Carousel has changed.. the whole interior celiing decor.
And oh Pat.. word of caution.. Perth is still famous for their speed traps 🤭 especially.. If it's down south to Margaret river. Think above 10km limit is AUD$100 Fine. Be careful
least the rats I knew runs round the corners and out of your sight.. these are pesky crooks.. almost like the snatch thieves of the animal kingdom. Like a flying Hyena. 😂 We don't have seagulls in Singapore.. so when someones sees them for the first time.. they think they're cute 😂🙄
