I sang on the backing of this track but you can barely hear me and I sang with Steve at quite a few Glory games including their first 2 games at the WACA. I worked with Steve from 1997 - 2011, great times, great bloke.
My uncle was goal keeper for Perth Glory and broke his nose and the mastication they gave him he was elegiac to it and his belly button was taken out... and now he coaches the goal keepers for Melbourne City :)

Maybe the family of American songwriter Julia Ward-Howe should sue every football club for copyright as she wrote the tune back in 1862 with the title of Battle Hymn of the Republic or Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory. Hate to break to all you ManUre flogs other clubs have had the song long before you. ManUre have had it since the 1980's and one has to go back to the 1960's when Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur used it.
