Cheers man 🎣 I remember some of your tinny whiting missions from back in the day, tasty fish 🎣👍🏻 when are we getting a new ep from you? Hoping for some big things too come 😎
Cracking the king george code is bloody hard ! I hear crew who have spots in the 40s do really well on the big ones, but thats a long way out for a few king george.
Hey mate 👋 haha yes that’s a very long want too go for KGW very very rear do I go that far 😅🎣 thanks heaps for watching. I’m sure I’ll nail a couple sometime soon, I think anchor and burley could be they key
Cheers man!! Well you seen what happened too one of those poor little whiting this morning 😂😮 Yes the KGW are a fish I’d love to have a little more Sussed out, it’s just a time/effort thing and we could have em dialed in 👍🏻🎣😃
KG's are hard work bro. I have managed to find them in two locations after 3 years of searching. The first spot was quite a drive and hammered with blowies. The second spot is very close to home, got 5 last week on the one day that was good weather and 2 squid.
Man seriously hard work alright!! Good score finding a zone nice and close for them I hope to find my own zone one day as well 😂 was that Wednesday you scored them? That’s when I filmed this vid. Bit of swell about but was so nice out there compared to what we have been dealt lately! Cheers for watching man & Hopfully there is some KGW on the channel in the not too distant future 🤤🎣👍🏻
@@rush.gang.fishing Yeah last Wednesday that one day in weeks wind has been down. There was a bit of swell for sure, I look forward to seeing the KGW on the channel soon
Hey mate 👋 the ski is a lot of fun and perfect for a quick fishing mission, boats great if spending a full day or taking a crew but as far as just racing out catching a fish and getting back in it’s perfect for it, each toy is great but I truly believe a fishing ski certainly has its place 🎣🚀✅ hit up the boys in seadoo Bayswater if you do go down that path, mention the channel etc and they will look after you 🎣👍🏻
Hahaha very very lucky cuttle fish, they are delicious, but damn they are messy things haha. The JetSki isn’t mine so I didn’t want to take the risk of it getting covered in ink 😂🎣 thanks Heaps for watching!!
Mate Whitein top eating fish as you know, swallow fry in beer batter bets snapper anyday. Good to see you just a large hook and some real bait on the hook not that servo bait 😂 Ox heart for kg and those small bait fish, get it in Cole's or iga the only bait you will ever have to buy 😉
Hey mate 👋 oh how good is whiting on the chew, a bit fiddly bud damn how delicious 🔥🔥 your not the first person to recommend ox-heart iv never tried it but sounds like I need to give it a shot. Thanks heaps for watching mate!
Hey mate 👋 damn that’s very very good size!! Never caught them out deeper yet, you anchor and burley or just drift around for the deeper ones? Thanks for watching 🎣👍🏻✅
@@rush.gang.fishing Drift in around 32m. Sometimes you get small ones, other times big ones. I don't anchor and burley past the back of 3 mile, you just get sharked.
Cheers man, yeah I always feel a bit un easy about anchoring past the back of the 3 just doesn’t feel right haha, I do see a few people seem to anchor up out that bit deeper though. Definitely keen on some mega sized whiting though 👍🏻👍🏻
Hey mate 👋 thanks heaps for watching! Haven’t spent any time in the sound yet but keen to give it a crack at some stage 🎣✅👍🏻 thanks heaps for the tip 😀
You might have more luck fishing off the beach at night for KG's, once the sun goes down they go feed in reed beds in sheltered bays and in shallow water. Have some great spots here in SW Vic at the right time of year.
Hey mate 👋 thanks heaps for watching, a bloke I know has pulled the odd one from the sand in the same sort of area I fish so it certainly is possible, the really big ones here seem to mostly get caught around that 30m mark, I think they are just one of those fish you have too put a fair bit of time into, I’ll get there. I hope 😂🎣👍🏻 tight lines mate!
@@rush.gang.fishing yeah I guess the bigger ones are offshore. Don't know why you just don't get a bucket of the sand whiting though and eat those, can't get better eating. I am old enough to not care about chasing bigger fish.
Ohh mate I agree a feed of sand whiting is very hard to beat, I guess I just want too figure out the KGW so it’s another species under my belt that I can tick off that I can “ confidently target “ 😅 thanks heaps for watching & I’ll catch ya on the next one 🎣👍🏻✅
Hey mate 👋 thanks heaps for watching!! You just taught me something new, and too be honest I have never caught a gummy from the boat ( wouldn’t even have a clue how to target them 😂 ) I got one off north yanchep beach many years ago and it was delicious 🤤 I’d love to get a few more gummy’s to my name 😂👍🏻✅
Hey mate 👋 man the sandies where well & truly on the chew ✅✅🔥 To be 100% honest I’m not really sure of the cost, but best bet would be call Seadoo sport and leisure in bays water speak to Lachy or James and they will be able to give you all the details ☎️ 9277 2844 thanks heaps for watching truly appreciate it ✅👍🏻
Very fun bits of kit man, kinda get the best of both worlds being fun too play on and great too fish from, surprised how confident I feel out there on the ski feels much bigger then it is. Hit up the crew in bays water if you end up going with a new one mention the channel & they will look after you boys 👍🏻🎣🚀
Hey mate 👋 I was almost waiting for this comment from someone 😅 larger fish I always brain spike then bleed, the small whiting what do you suggest is the best method for putting of there misery? I have never seen anyone using a needle sized ikipik for smaller fish nor have I seen anyone “ neck “ whiting.. I’m not being funny I honestly don’t know the best/fastest way to put a small fish out of their misery is other than putting straight onto ice sorts them out pretty quickly? Thanks heaps for watching mate and I’m all ears on better ways & methods around catching & dispatching fish 🎣👍🏻
