@@TommySem As a small-stage half-amateur to a big-stage full-pro I ask you thus: share your secrets with me, oh wise one! I would very much like to see your HANDS during a show like this.
Running drunk and out of breath at 2 AM in a dimly lit neighborhood with Humans are Such Easy Prey blasting through my headphones will probably be one of my favorite memories. Perturbator makes the best workout music.
I certainly did mate! Found myself in 3 moments. Concert started 2am... when I just woke up and I really wanted to attend... after 15mins I was partying among the crowd ;)

It is absolutely amazing to see so many people enjoying Synthwave in one place. I love this genre because it connects best of both worlds: Electronic and Metal :)
I feel like I've just discovered a whole new world, like synth music has morphed with metal, never expected that. The 90s had Nirvana, the 20s have Perturbator!
@@CoasterTamer Yes true but I should have been more specific, synthwave would need fun uplifting songs about looking at butts at the beach, beating up rappers, conquering women and other fun positive themes like that. It would have to take over what rap tries to do, shouldn't be too hard. No reason why that can't happen except for leftist losers who don't won't to win the music culture battle. Honestly I like metal but newer metal can't win over the chicks, it's not clever or fun sounding, danceable, etc enough.
@@partywavemusic3470 I like the zyrinx driver yamaha2612 fm synth jesper kyd the synth is dirty sounding I have a guitar don't you think electric guitar gets kinda old synthesizers can create new sounds and a bunch of sounds some are programmable
RU-vid recommended this so I figured I'd check it out. 0:20 I was like huh, just two guys, no vocalists or anything? 2:00 I was like why am I watching this? Why are there so many people watching this? This seems pointless. 24:00 I was suddenly wearing a white mask and dancing around my room with a pair of glowsticks. Good stuff.
Dude if you're a metalhead, Dark Synthwave will be your jam. If you haven't yet, I highly recommend listening to Carpenter Brut. He's my favorite in the genre, and this is coming from someone that is both a metalhead, grunge addict, and listens to a lot of electronic music; this is like the perfect balance.
You're awesome. The variety of that genre is huge. As a long-term hardcore metalhead, i need to say...l LOVE SYNTHWAVE. No bullshit, just good music. Keep up the good work.
Only in Poland they sing a song back to the performers after their encore. Wow. What class. Also loved how you didn't see anyone on their stupid phones. Just people dancing and having a good time! What a show!
@@vgman94 bandcamp is a website where bands sell their albums both physically and digitally and also some merch. It's also a great place to find new bands. www.bandcamp.com
was there live, it was so fucking awesome, to be honest i just remember standing there with my friends vibing hard as fuck, and then i was in the moshpit all of a sudden without realizing and it was just a fucking great feeling, synth live is just another world
Who ever did the lighting here is woefully unpraised. Super hard to make lighting work for something like this, there should be more activity on stage, but when the band kinda exists of only two how do you make it breathe and feel alive? there's only so much such a small band can do on stage when they have to be fixed to their instruments. Whoever you are, you kicked ass and made this show more awesome, you filled out the stage.
I just realized, the light engineer is basically a composer. He's doing with light what composers do with music, only in 3 dimensions. A symphony is an arranged sequence of chords and notes from a set of instruments, the light engineer is composing a light-symphony. It looks like an insane amount of work too!
Hahaha! Been there, buddy, done that. In my case, it was In Extremo playing and me falling asleep on a truck tire after I thought it was a great idea to pass around a bottle of Wodka/IceTea with some Danish dudes I've never met before.
i was really lucky to be there :D I was dancing like crazy and i wasnt even in the pit. It was enjoyable at center cause it was cool to sea also the light show..cause of quite a big stage you know :) THANK YOU PERTUBATOR! See you very soon in Bratislava!
It's no rock in any way, it is Synthwave and in Pertubator's case it's the subgenre Darkwave. You can also look for Carpenter Brut, DEADLIFE, Wice, Turboslasher and so on, all these projects and further more you find on Bandcamp.
Amazing! It is not often you see electronic artists do such a great job of upgrading their live presentation. Not enough electronic artists have stage pressence like this.
I already said it on Gojira's live and I will say it one more time here : I'm half French, half Polish and this live makes me so fucking proud, best of both worlds 🤘🏻 💘

@@smithles554433 That`s a rookie but common mistake at woodstock (polandrock). I`ve once missed Modestep concert, because i was layin drunk next to my tent, luckily they`ve uploaded it online a few years after. Aside from that, it was trully a great concert. I`ve seen Pert in a small club playing with Moloch, Polish darksynth/synthwave artist, and the vibe, and feeling of "unsetteling" that they`ve made during the Woodstock concert is undescripable. If anybody wonders if they should go and see Perturbator perform live, i can trully reccomend it. Cheers guys, stay healthy!
@@homestarronny Skinny Puppy is life changing. The 'Last Rights' album needs a warning label for how dark it is. The 'Too Dark Park' album isn't far behind. Their live album, 'Aint it dead yet' is a good place to start or the 'Bites' album as well and then work your way up.
