positives : goalkeeping improved . ball physic is realistic . graphics are improved ( hair , faces , pitch ) players physics is a little bit improved negatives : robotic movement sometimes when a player cut the ball to another it's difficult when a player shoot from outside the box the kits style still the same always a fast pace in the game which make it unrealistic in certain point conclusion : this ps4 version is a better than the 2016 version ... pes are in the good path

The animations are just.. incredible. I honestly got goosebumps when I saw the players faces, the walking, the outside of play animations, shooting, passing...etc but when it comes to the gameplay I still believe you can use your head more in FIFA, you can be creative and create your own tactics unlike PES it's more like you're tied to a specific system and can't really do something outside of it. I strongly believe that PES in a few years will be a lot better and more realistic but till that day comes, FIFA is sadly still leading.
Empezando desde el césped y las animaciones más fluidas del público y jugadores, ha habido mejoras, como es de esperarse. La forma en la que Griezmann patea ese penalti me dejó encantado, tanto como la visual de Mascherano justo luego de ese gol. También ese zapatazo de Neymar, hermoso. Dicho esto, muchas animaciones me parecen exageradas y aunque los movimientos de los jugadores son aceptables, hay un ligero retraso en la ejecución de estos, igual que PES 2016. En conclusión, PES sigue mejorando, pero a cuentagotas y lo que gana por un lado lo pierde por otro (licencias, estadios) El año pasado ya perdí lo que me quedaba de confianza y decidí cambiarme a FIFA y no me ha ido nada mal.
Beautiful graphics, beats Fifa 17 graphics by far but idk Fifa 17 always beats the gameplay. But they both are doing a good job so far. (I love both tbh.)
nah it's usually other way round (majority says it, although some hv other opinions like u)..pes's gameplay is their strength but they messed it up in pes 16..bt looks like it's back again..& with better graphics than ever
It might just be me, but I think this game looks incredible. This game will only be appreciated by those who watch football frequently and know what a game of football is like, so mature gamers who are more bothered by gameplay and realism than licensing will be very excited for this game
idiot people that say that fifa gameplay is better, are kids! and never play football in reallife! if you play pes, you feel the magic of gameplay, its simulate the game football as the best!

It's a fact, it is so dark, faces are downgraded during gameplay, if there is a way to show you a picture of the gameplay in YT I would but I know you already know it's so dark and ugly.

I'm sorry. I'm not liking this. The same skating issues and some ugly nonsensical animations I disliked in 2016 are still in there. I can't believe I'll have to wait another year again. PES needs a reboot now. It's the same recycled animations for a decade. I've been supporting PES for so, so long. I'm really not happy. I think now it's pretty obvious I'll never get that game I'm waiting for. Guess I better quit after all these years :(
Nico Di-Maria Of course I will, as usual, but Nico, I'm not your average person/troll. I've been playing this game non stop since the mid 90s. I haven't been happy with all iterations after PES 6. They were all hit and miss. I've been there and done that. I've been down this lane enough times now and this deja vu isn't fun nor healthy anymore. I'm a mod on evo-web and used to be one on WENB. I'm just not happy man. Been there before, and seen this before. But my opinion doesn't matter though. I realize what I want will never happen and this game is catering to a different audience now. I should just live with that fact instead of disappointment, and either play it for what it is or leave it altogether now.
I always wonder if Japan has good game animator. Their work culture is shit for doing the same thing with same way all over again and hoping for better result. Enough is enough I'm fed up of playing fan boy better I keep buying fifa instead.

I like the new look, I think the goalkeeper in PES 17is way better than in PES 16. Last year, I got both PES 16 for PS4 and FIFA 16 for PC and I enjoyed them both. However, PES 16 always gave me that spark when playing more than FIFA 16. I can't wait to get my copy of PES 17.

IK but the Athems r so real and accurate and celebrates and expressions which puts it in a tie with Fifa in my opinion as the Athems and celebrations ARNT as realistic in Fifa

+iAmJustin HD lol pes has much more options tactically has a better manager mode (master league),the AI is much better than fifa THIS YEAR THE AI WILL ADJUST ACCORDING TO HOW U R PLAYING.There are more options on what to do on the pitch e.g diving,removing shirt in celebration etc. the only thing fifa has better is the movement but the movement in pes is not as bad as u r making it only robotic on cuts and a little improvement on the knees movement and it will be perfect.Your going to waste money for a game just for 'movement' and dont talk about alex hunter crap ign gave 2/5 on its first impression as it wont be like a story with many options or will progress according to how u played.U have to do the objective otherwise mission failed thus story would be very narrow u hardly can change anything in it.
iAmJustin HD no if u consider that movement=gameplay than u dont know the meaning of gameplay because pes has beaten fifa in gameplay in both 2015 and 16 according to EVERY GAMING SITE WITH RATINGS OF 9/10 OR 9.5/10 secondly the movement isnt as bad as your saying.
the graphics in the trailer showed 2006 graphics but its diffrent in the demo i like how the stadium looks big for improving skills and epic counter attacks and it looks great but the cpu is see just tackle and foul with 34% of yellow cards other than that it looks great but i'll buy fifa17 cuz i was fifa fan since 2013 and pretty much get used to fifa i wish i have enough money to buy the both
The biggest negative about this game as that as usual it will be centered around 20 teams. The rest will have generic faces, and outdated rosters. I wish Konami put the same effort on the rest of the teams as they do in Barcelona or Bayern or the team of the year. You can't make release an incomplete game and charge $60 for it. At least the FIFA games have consistency.
amazing gameplay....... it looks pretty smooth overall ..... a game will always be a game... so some animation fails will always be there.... no game will be ever a 100 % realistic.... thats why its a game.... but what i can see here.... i really enjoy.... + goalkeepers look much better now.... ( for the most part )

Cara, sou fifeiro, comecei a jogar Fifa pq o PES decaiu muito, mas por esse gameplay fiquei empolgado demais, nossa, esse jogo parece que tá animal, se cuida Fifa, pq o monstro (PES) tá saindo da jaula!
O PES17 no replay e de perto (mostrando a face dos jogadores) é perfeito! Mas na hora que tá jogando.. Movimentando os jogadores, parece que é Score Heroes. kkkkkk
+Qthetar it's Incredible how you think PES is the best. It got best football game prize. Good that's fine, I was a Pes fan once, when Pes was King of the football simulations. Now tell me... What they did to improve it...? I still can see that robotic and unrealistics movements. Fifa always has new features every year. As they took the celebration control from fifa game, why can't they take all of the licenses that fifa has for years, why can't they fix the referee problem, why can't they change completely gameplay in something completely new and more fun adding some other skill or feature like fifa had with the no touch dribbling. Let's say the truth... Fifa even if has no taken prize for best football game is more fun and real than Pes. As I said, I was a Pes fan once... before it was destroyed since PES 2014. Call me kid, cause I am, but I'm a kid waiting for Pes to be the best again just to tell Fifa's Fans that the king is back, but unfortunately Fifa will rules still for long. We have to be seriously. I do not accept that kind of gameplay with those patetic animations during a tackle or any other action.

They have changed a lot, you're just judging from this video, go check out other videos from NGB and PESEP channels, you will see that they have added so much to the gameplay, all you care about is movement and animations. There are other more important things. Also just so you know you're saying FIFA adds something new every year? They haven't changed much since FIFA 10. Every new gameplay feature on FIFA 17 was already on PES many years ago. So they are already behind.

La cinemática en las celebraciones es muy buena, el balón se mueve mejor, los porteros son realmente mejores. Al parecer es muy fácil regatear y las defensas son bastante pasivas, todavía seguimos con el mismo movimiento robótico de siempre (FIFA Y PES), sin embargo se ve más divertido q el FIFA 17.
the most amazing thing was the crowd at 6:44, you can see them getting angry because of the decision to book the Barca player. If they can just make the animations slightly less knee-jerk, I will abandon FIFA forever because it looks awesome!
Se ve todo bonito. Idéntico el Camp Nou por fuera y la ciudad de Barcelona. Y de repente PAF, llegas a la realidad viendo el tradicional túnel de vestuarios de PES jajaja. No pido que cambien eso también, pero es curioso como te arruinan la realidad en otro segundo.
A mi punto de vista noto una gran mejoría en control de balón, dándote la capacidad de usar tus habilidades, para quitar rivales, también aprecio que los porteros se mueven distintos, como ejemplo noto que el portero se lanza en una posicion diferente para rechazar, aunque en el fabuloso gol que le mete el atletico el 3-1 note que el jugador quizo usar al portero y este solo estuvo como un cono, no se si fue porque no lo sabe utilizar, o por defecto en el mano a mano el portero se seleccionará, en cuanto a graficos me siguen gustando las repeticiones, cada detalle esta fenomenal, aunque en la cancha ya en el modo de juego no me gusta que parecen un poco, como si se deslizaran, pero excelente detalle aun asi el pasto se ve muy bien, y lo que mas destaco en este pes es que note que ya no hay tanto pelotazo exitoso, con el bombeado al hueco, claro que aun asi depende de las habilidades de cada quien. en fin a mi me encanto, esta muy bueno, no esta en excelente pero si me gusto, esperare el demo con ancias
looks like I'm sticking with fifa. Was hoping Konami would go all out and make pes 17 fun and enjoyable so i could try a different football game but that's not the case.
I always want PES to be good, as there needs to be competition in order for both games to want to improve. There is just something about PES's gameplay, it seems cartoonish in the way they move and pass the ball, something just doesn't seem natural about it and I can't put my finger on what it is! I always hear people raving about PES but I've never been able to get into it
Infelizmente está a mesma coisa, não preciso nem jogar pra ver que continua robótico, a Konami parece que ficou presa a esse tipo de jogabilidade e não consegue se soltar, mais um ano sendo horrível.
Podem não concordar, esperem disponibilizar a demo e verão, assim como verão mais um ano de Fifa reinando, queria que fossem 2 bons jogos, mas o PES não consegue se reerguer nunca.

Pes 12 y 13 fueron un lavado de cara a lo que se venía teniendo, pero Pes 14 fue una REVOLUCIÓN. Y ese era el camino. Pero no, la pifiaron con el 15, el 16 es más de lo mismo, y este 17, mejora algo de gráficas, pero sigue siendo lo mismo en esencia. Cada vez parece más al correcalles que es FIFA, Es tan difícil un Pes con los efectos en juego (nieve, por ej) de Pes 6, las muestras de progreso del Ser Leyenda del 2009, pero con un calendario como el del 12/13, y una Master y un "realismo" como el del 14?
hmmm... maybe I gotta play it, but from the looks of it... it looks like pes 16. I can't see a big difference. here and there are some new animations, but all in all its pes 16. but I will give it a try. short passes are way to fast though already
the reason fifa always beats pes is the animation ,posture of the players the graphics is okay or better than fifa but the movement needs much improvement please loook at that
God physics of the ball, god facial expresions, god play of the lights, but those robotic movements when the player runs with the ball in one direction... That thing looks terrible.
Bad Things : Goal Keeper still Bad .... No 360 movement still ... Ball Circulation and movement is unrealistic ... Good Things : Stadium & Game environment is killer .... Graphics are great.. Replay I think they have done good Job I will wait to play the demo my self and decide
