Bought my first German spring gun in 1979. Flirted with pcp but the extra expense of a pump, tank and hassle of refilling, soured the fun. Glad i kept my springers. ScottinUS
I bought a 99S 22cal and agree it's a fantastic rifle, accurate out of the box, a good size not too big and heavy but shoulders nicely, full length barrel with quality iron sights and is full UK limit power ~11ftlb. Considering there are no plastic parts, how well made it is, the accuracy and quality of finish, it's hard to understand how it cost £230 new. I should have bought two.
Brill little guns for the price love mine I was going to get it tuned but don't need to it's brill straight out of box I've had mine a few years now and still shoots great
@@shaunsadventures Exactly, no need, it'd probably cost near the value of the gun to have it tuned/ fettled, there's no rattle or spring buzz as is, trigger is crisp and it's more than accurate for some pesting /hobby targets. I put a Hawke Airmax compact scope on top to do it justice.
Same as you, i looked at a PCP but couldnt justify the additional coat and extra equipment. Great little gun and you can carry it around all day no bother
