This is the story of a little baby crow that was found in early June of 2018 in a back alley with several dead birds around. We could not just ignore this tragedy and leave the little bird there to die like the others.
Click the link below to see the video of a baby magpie that we rescued from this same alley.

The fact that the bird had no intention of leaving or flying away and decided to take upon a new life with a new family is absolutely sweet.

It's pretty sad that she had to be put in those circumstances in the first place, poor thing was just a baby when she was rescued. But bless these kind people for rescuing this baby and giving her a chance at a happy and healthy life like all creatures deserve. 🖤

I had a similar situation when I was younger. I found a young crow like this about the same age, and raced it until it could fly. Once I released it, it would follow me around wherever I went when I was outside. This used to freak out my friends and family, but I loved it and I had a new friend.

I was a very young boy when my father was raising a baby pet crow. It was a wonderful pet. He named it Eighty proof. I was sad when it grew strong enough to leave, but I thanked it for it’s amusement and company. I said goodbye, and wished it well. I think he hung around, on and off for several years. It was always fun when he came by with his friends and family.

people who say animals lives are ruined when kept in captivity do not realise animals dont have dreams or ambitions. if they are safe and not hungry theyre pretty happy.
@burningcheerios3119
@burningcheerios3119 3 года назад
It's very dependent on the animals, for examples orcas and other dolphins are miserable in captivity. The only recorded instances of orcas attacking people are orcas in captivity because the go crazy under those conditions. Intelligent animals all require recreation of some sort and many need social interaction and in some cases we can't properly provide that in captivity. Ravens and crows do well provided the have a good amount of room and friendly interactions though.

Had a similar experience once. My sister found a baby crow that had fallen after some children destroyed its nest. He couldn't fly at the time, so we (my sister mainly) taught him by throwing him into the air repeatedly. After he learnt to fly (~6 months), we drove about 3km away and released him. He flew off into forest and we never saw him again. He was a lovely bird.

I had a talking magpie for 14 years , exactly by the same way.Incredible how the corvidae are clever , and can be really closed to humans when you save them as babies.And it is not mentioned in this video,but I am sure that this bird now can talk some words , like magpies and jackdows.I would be so happy to have a jackdow now , so everytime there is a big storm in spring,I go near the castle of my city , to see if some babies are fallen , to save their lives.For the moment sadly,I only found dead ones.

Crows are amazingly smart animals. My mum saved a wild crow once. This one was almost picked to death by other crows for some reason and my mum interfered. Since then this crow came back every day and even brought its family with it. When my mum walks through town there's always her saved crow sitting around watching her. It even replies when she calls it.

I feed crows every day and have watched them literally go from being nestlings to adulthood. They will follow me from the time I open my apartment bld. door to when I return, throughout an area spanning close to 2 square miles. Various flocks, and they have gifted me things like pendants off necklaces to stickers, anything shiny. I have a lot of great stores about them and exchanges. I've hung out with a murder of over 100 who will follow me for half a mile at times. They are misunderstood, loyal and lovely birds who are a part of my life.
