Hi my question is regarding the cardiac pet scan stress test. How long does that one take, meaning how long do I have to lie still on the table and will my arms and head be out? Will I be able to be sedated? Is it possible to have the test broken up into 2 seperate parts under the scanner so that I can move and get a break in between sections? Thank you!!!
We couldn't find instructions on diet in our paper work thank you for this summary as I know every person should talk to their doctor but this helped us remember what he already told us todo
They always ask about diabetes and meds, and usually check your blood glucose level before they start. It's radioactive labelled glucose, very small dose and no other way to do it. It's the glucose that's taken up by cancer cells
@@cassieoz1702. That’s what I wanted to know. Thanks. I’ve needed Ativan to get through an mri but not for a Lexi scan. As long as they don’t put that awful cage over my face 😅.
Well lets hope you don't have cancer. I have a pet scan tomorrow. They found swollen lymph nodes in my chest on a ct scan. That's why i have to do a pet scan
