I've read the book and I'm a fan when directors make changes. It's something new for everyone to enjoy. I don't want to watch the book...that is boring. There are few moments from the new version that were disturbing that was not in the book. I applaud directors who have the balls to take chances with classics.
*Attempted* to read the book when I was fourteen. It was in the month of October just before Halloween. When I got to the part where Gage is hit by the truck, killed, then buried and Louis does the unthinkable, I had to put the book down. I never finished it. Most frightening book I'd ever read. King's other most terrifying horror story for me was Salem's Lot. I was around 12 when I watched the made for TV movie. Boy, did I regret it...
King is honestly hit or miss because he has released so much, however his best novels are timeless. Pet Sematary, Carrie, Misery, The Shining, IT. Those stories will live on for a long time.
Miki Miyazaki Don't KNOW about THAT.....but THIS ONE DEFINITELY bothers me !! It's like.... SHE'S " different" and the circumstances surrounding her " resurrection !!
part 2 should be made and start out showing judd and his dog and meeting stanley and then showing the batermans and towards the end show what happens with the creeds...did they keep going or where they captured by local police to shush the town
If people took the time to watch this. I think they would have better appreciation for the movie. They really considered what they wanted to do and change but people are so petty and keep thinking it’s a remake for the 1989 movie but it’s not.
This sucked...it was so cheesy and rushed ! Prefer the original...didn't care about the characters in this one..and that dumb face Ellie pulled before she died LOL
@@mskizzsogood5929 If this SOMEHOW happened in real and a kid is about to get by a gasoline tank that is basically a state of panic and for some people they can think faster than others on knowing what to do like moving out of the way basically while for Ellie and for any other human being they probably had to many racing thoughts like OH MY GOODNESS IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING... UH UH UH WHICH SAY SHOULD I GO OH NO OH NO!!!!
Yeah the Slow motion didn’t help that scene , I think a quick scene even with just sounds would have been for effective and let us fill in what we think happened.
