It's rare to find such empathy and compassion within the genre of pop music. How PSB captures the pathos of human suffering in just a few minutes is beyond me, but I feel it. Gorgeous song and video. 💗

Even though prolific hitmaker Diane Warren wrote this song, The Pet Shop Boys totally made it their own. It's so beautiful and haunting. The album "Fundamental" might just be their masterpiece. I never get tired of listening to it.

As much as I love the idea of a Smash Hits album in June, I've done various audio tests and some of the previous remasters are completely and utterly indiscernibly different (not just PSB tracks, this is all over the industry). What some of us have been hoping for, for years actually, is re-worked versions of some of the classic hits, not just remixed or remastered versions. There are some amazing pop songs that are really starting to sound dated and in need of a spruce up for the modern age. I'd even pay for purely orchestral versions, without Neil's vocals. :)
