I don't think this is funny or clever, I think it's flat out fucking GOOD. Their flows are fucking advanced, and their voices have a unique grit that sounds hard as hell! I fux with it heavily
They were indeed, Pete almost caught a murder case in the 70s for a rival gang members death but won it, Bas' whole family rang illegal boxing rings, laundered money and grew and sold marijuana, both have been in an out of prison. Although Bas is very musically inclined, he's qualified music and english teacher now, plays multiple instruments (Piano, sax etc). Pete introduced his friend to drill after his granddaughter wouldn't stop playing it in the car and after he actually listened to the lyrics found himself relating to the guys and listening to it by himself instead and they decided they would try it for fun.
The fact that these old men are actually better than some of your favourite rappers is genuinely so impressive there actually cold don’t get enough credit
I imagine these guys were proper geezers in their day and the fact that at their age they're embracing the new era is a madness, mad respect for them tbh, hats off
@@adengravett they did an interview the big guy was a musician/teacher and they joined up because his friend the shorter one wanted to do a rap video to impress his/daughter niece and give her some encouragement, they were definitely not gangsters idk where people heard this bs.

@@zmacb are you sick in your fucking head ? President T is one of the best at this ting 🤣🤣 who do you listen to.. and wait.. you think these old men really rap like this ?? Alright buddy and look it up president says it in a interview
Ghost writers or not these two old mates are actually living their best life. They probably worked really hard when they were younger and now their absolutely just making music having fun and respecting the youngins. Very nice
@@pregerzoreo4886 there's a character called "Brick Top" who feeds people he's had killed to pigs. If you haven't seen "Snatch" check it out - good movie
@@pregerzoreo4886 pigs supposedly eat everything including human remains etc although they do leave parts that you have to filter from the pig shite and get rid off
More rappers need to jump on tracks with them. They are really out here doing this and should be treated like any other artist, it's not even a meme ting anymore.
"Both hands on the back when I smash it we don't make love we make magic" bro I just dashed my phone across the room how Is someone's grandad coming out with bars like that 🥶
“Both hands on her back when I smash it , we don’t make love we make magic , she was speaking Spanish , got me singing love songs in traffic “ hahaha think people slept on that one ..👨🏾🦯👨🏾🦯
Been here since day one and its great to see how the comments have shifted, they deserve respect and more than hold their own. I dont care who is behind it they still perform and I rekon are part of the writing team.
lmao and then in the plugged in freestyle Pete says "Speaking Spanish, hasta luego Thumbs in his eyes get pressed like play-doh", these guys are too cold with the themes
Tbh even if they do have writers....99% of the population couldn't deliver these bars with that kind of finesse. If they are writing those bars. They're are top 10 in the UK I said what I said
Yh they definitely contribute to the writing process, even if they ain't write the flows themselves. As the guy above said, they use loads of period slang that only they and other olders know.
I think it was pretty professional of him... he basically stopped at 'solid' and let those two basically have the show. He came in and then got out of the way. No doubt he is a competent rapper, but I think he had to recognize that this track wasn't gonna be about him. He's the feature. And he's playing it how a good feature does... read the situation and bring what the song needs. It's a feature - a contribution. Speaks well on M24 in my book. If he had showed off, it wouldn't have been the same. He's basically their hype man/realness meter.
Some old people settle down in retirement and tell stories about their glory days But a select few are still living their life to the fullest I hope to be like these guys when I get old
The car in this video is a Beauford! It's basically a kit car made of fibreglass. The early versions used the shell of a Mini. You can still see the likeness if you are familiar with the original mini.
no...in this game its easy to see who the pretenders are. it makes pete and bas more legit when their doing songs with actual drillers. not pretenders that act like they are in the gang life
