I think Pete Burns was more fragile than people realise. Very sadly I've only really got to know Pete Burns since he died and I've come to really respect him, it's a shame.
Same here. I heard 'you spin me' for the first time in 2017 after hearing the flo rida version that i heard in 'pitch perfect'. Didnt even bother to look up pete until paul rudd and jimmy fallon made a copy of his 'you spin me ' video. I literally feel sad.
He clearly used his humour as self-defense. Pretty typical of someone that experienced trauma in their childhood. Just like Pete, I was also raised by a Holocaust survivor and that in itself transfers a certain amount of psychological baggage onto you.
@@bellasue02 Everyone took advantage of him. Lynne, Michael, Steve, his DoA bandmates etc etc. But I think Michael was on and off, never abandoned him for good. I mean, where would Mike go? lmao, he's just a serva hahaha
