Funny how in most interviews they try to beat him down with negativity but have the audacity to have shocked looks on thier faces at the end when Pete both mentally and verbally out manuvers them each and every time.
Elizabeth Hayes Pete was born in The Wirral (right in front of liverpool. Then moved to live in Liverpool at a young age to work and later to dedicate his life to music. He is, at heart, a scouser
@Xcorgi I agree with you. They expect an easy target for ratings and he takes his genuine straight forward personality just cuts them off at every pass.
Gosh, I feel terribly sad for the deep-rooted problems and issue Pete had to endure for the majority of his life. The fact that his fiance had to move away to 'recover' just ONE DAY after their engagement is heartbreaking. Poor guy was one in a billion- outstanding character, beautiful and hilarious. Really upset he passed away when he did, especially because he had made it known that he wanted to live a long life. I've always wondered if his body just gave up after everything that had been done to it.
I feel exactly the same way you do! However....I just do NOT understand why he filed for divorce from Lynne, his wife. They met as teenagers..... and had been married a total of 26 years (the last year of their marriage was not so good.... I understand). Pete had said, I read that his wedding day was the happiest day of his life. I mean... I know that some things can change.... and certain feelings can change..... but Lynne had been with him.... and she had supported him ALWAYS
@@debraweaver6308I'm curious about this too, why he implied the divorce was so bad. They were just best friends, and he even said they stopped having sex around 1982. She knew he preferred men. I'm amazed they stayed married for so long. I guess it was just for convenience.
