There were things Obama failed to accomplish and a few choices he made that let me down, but overall the biggest lesson is that we can't expect a solitary savior in the whitehouse. I feel the same way. And I appreciate that he seems to genuinely care about improving quality of living and democratic rights for all Americans, not simply as a strategic benefit to one party. There've been a lot of voices insisting that I have to hate all Trump voters, but I just can't. I believe we can make a better world, and bring them along into it.

More than having great ideas, what impressed me about Mayor Pete is he is realistic about the time frame on climate change, racial equality, voter's rights. It was yesterday. These issues should have been discussed yesterday yet I think he is the only one voicing out the urgency for these things to be fix. But still, we have a long way to go.

Lia, Pete is my mayor and I used to be a photojournalist. You are right. Depending on who is recording the event and where they stand to film, the interpretation can get lost for broader audiences. His campaign can try to talk to the media about this concern. Pete likes new ideas and perspectives. He is on Facebook and has a home site called "Meet Pete" if you Google it. I agree with the thought, but one thing to consider is that this took place in Concord NH. NH as a state is only 1% African American (94% white).

Pete is new on the scene, and campaigning in early states like New Hampshire and Iowa (not a lot of people of color). Please note some of the media from South Carolina. He is getting there. I think economic difficulty and inequality are the core reason for this and as such should be emphasized. If they are not than either he doea not see it that way or refuses to address the core issues. Dont worry, I am open minded enough and I am watching his talks, interviews etc long and short and forming my opinion based on everything I see.
