Here in Michigan we have major hospitals that have their own food gardens on premises.

on the subject of mulch. i have learned to use multiple sources, mainly creating compost from grass and other sources similar to Charles Downing, using neigborhood leaves and chop n drop since wood chips are hard to come by sometimes. we even put small brush and logs directly into our food forest to break down when necessary. Great video!

I was hoping for information on how I could start a bit of edible landscaping. As far of their consulting fees or $150 an hour to chat on the phone - YIKES. 😯 The majority of people like myself couldn't possibly afford their fees although we try our best to improve our world in gardening our own food. With what is coming at us we all need to be growing as much food as we can.

Pete--great to see you with your partner. I found you at the beginning of Covid, your videos helped me feel happier. First ones I watched were from Costa Rica . Hope you go back there and make more. Love that diversity of tropical growth. Native Floridian, lifelong grower, I'm the proud owner of 4 varieties of carambola, and much more, thanks to your amazing nursery selection--they ALL produced fruit this year. Hope to drive down for another plant order in the spring. Thanks for all the wonderful visits you've made to other growers homes and properties, I've enjoyed hearing from people who also appreciate the Beauty of plant possibilities in Florida, not just a cut and dried 'how can I get 5 more feet of Production from this land?' . Rebecca, the economy is NOT tanking, it's Thriving. That's a very tired propaganda you repeat. Justin, you are so mercenary, try imagining not everything Green Dreams does is only about generating personal profit. As Pete tried to convey several times, the people they work with are not just expendable drones to be added and subtracted willy-nilly. You could benefit from more generosity of spirit.

This is great! I'm so glad to see that other people see "conservative" media, like Alex Jones, for what it really is. It spreads fear but offers no remedy! Not worth watching. Better off reading or watching videos like this where we can actually learn how to take better care of ourselves.

Finding Pete was huge for me when first moving to central Florida, now living in N Florida, I'm trying to conquer and adjust to colder climes...I'm still babying the papaya and moringa plants I got from Green Dreams. My yard now completely covered in free mulch, I am free from mowing, my perimeter surrounded in varieties of banana sporting 18 banana racks that I am now chopping and dropping for more soil build-up for a yard that is prone to flooding...I too was motivated by Alex Jones, afraid, it was time to sustain my hope in permiculture and organic gardening...Pete's struggles are worth the efforts to spread the words, as well as Jim's...I totally miss Echo shopping, their plants were amazing...and my bamboo from there are thriving...I always remember to POUND DIRT...thanks kids...!!!

I was a child during early 40s WW 2 . Everyone in the neighborhood had victory gardens.

Pete seems like a great guy.

Moved from miami to central fl lots of white sand n oak trees growing is different building a soil base w wood chips coffee grounds chickens etc learned so much from both of you guys !
