People already make music this good. The question is can you make it visible for the new generation. The powerful minority has had us buried under a lot of garbage for over 2 decades now.
I'm a white man 62 years old when music was music nothing like what they call music in todays world and like the O'Jays sang I love music any kind of music that was me listened to everything and anything and this is the first time I ever heard this song until today smh don't know how I missed it wondering what else I missed great great song the lyrics ,beat and song well written and produced with the right singers
I purchased this album without even taking a test listen simply because it was PR and it still gets in the rotation. I was on the tail end of my military career at FT. Carson banging this in Memorial Park with fellas and the ladies.
This song is 24 years old & I never knew he had a video for it. I’m ashamed of myself. In my defense I was locked down in 98 though. One of my favorites joints off this album.
Goddamn!!! The perfect chill song, I met Pete Rock on a Tony Touch boat party in NYC that they throw every year, the chillest person you will ever meet
Beautiful Song and Vibe. Deserves a re-release. Underated banger. Loose Ends Pete Rock collab is like butter pound cake and Vanilla Ice cream smooth satisfying and delicious. Needs to be in a Power Episode Scene.
This here is pure hip-hop and the culture is ever so special!! The legendary Loose Ends and the legendary Pete Rock speaks for itself!! It's timeless!! "When fresh was the style, plus the word to say"........ that line there you can't get it better than that!! HIP-HOP to the highest level!! 🤛🏾🤜🏾
I'm 41 and heard this song for the first time over 20 years ago. First time seeing this video. Ever hear a song and based on the vibe you imagine what a music video would look like, then when you see the actual video, it is nothing like you imagine and are disappointed? Its happening here. But I love this song and love Pete Rock!
@@justinjordan67 I think loose ends were touring once although with only some of the members sometimes it would be Carl ,Jane and Steve or just Jane by herself in recent years.
@@justinjordan67 I think loose ends had issues with their sound creative differences broke the group up and they replaced Jane with some other lady that I couldn't get into after Carl carried on the group with another vocalist.
I remember when this was brand new, I can't believe it's already been as long as it's been. This whole album was such a classic, It made me 10x cooler to align with the vibes on this album.
