Peter Cat Recording Co gets it's name from "Peter Cat" restaurant in Calcutta, which is almost a 60 year old restaurant. "Peter Cat" is actually named after a famous cat that frequented the Lord's Cricket Ground between 1952-62. The band would frequent the restaurant in the early 2008-10s and would eventually get it's name. It's amazing to think that so many cultures, cuisines and musical influences are linked to a cat from the 50s!

The beauty of this song for me is simply in the fact that it captures the essence of an Indian event that is a sign of great pomp and joy, nd this song touches it brushes it and presents it calmly , beautifully ,sweetly ,retaining the essence very passionately without being loud or monotonous . i discovered this band through lifafa (the lead singer) and trust me i had goosebumps and cried over the video because a song made me feel so many emotions and so woke yet so chill at the same time after a long time. keep up the good work, highly inspired by your music.
