I flew the first simulator in NJ back in 2007 with the EASY I cockpit and it was great stuff, and getting in the real thing at TEB was awesome. I just can't imagine all these nice upgrades. I do hope the CCD was redesigned, it was a little cumbersome. I could see the advantages of the HUD in this case. It takes discipline to look down and up in other aircraft where the flight information is not represented the same way, and adjust quickly. Excellent demon, thanks.
So, let's say the computer controlling this fails, what do you do then? I see no backup altimiter or Horizon. Maybe I am missing something; however, it seems to me that for $50,000,000 I could get that just in case. If you know what I mean.
at Dassault, everything is done so that there are multiple redundancies!! on the Rafale, there are 3 different power supplies, those of the two engines, a power supply coming from a generator whose air intake can be seen just behind the canopy, and there are still batteries! you should worry more about Boeings which have an unfortunate tendency to crash!! example B737!! LOL ahhhh when bad faith holds you!!
