You are in for a treat! A simple amazing speaker. Probably our best selling speaker above 1500euro at the moment! .. and yet… our only speaker with 0% return rate ;-)
I am looking at buying some older Mission 737 Rennaissance speakers that are somewhat visually similar with their size and and how the drivers and port are positioned to these 770's. I'm sure they don't sound the same and some people have described them as being a bit bright. I have listened to other models of Mission speakers and haven't come upon one yet that I didn't like in some way. Can anyone tell what the major difference is in the sound signature between these two different models of Mission speakers?
Sorry for the late reply and you've either bought the 737R or never bothered. I had the 737Rs with matching stands. Good speaker for little money. I think the 737R was just a newer model than the 770s. For what it's worth, I changed my 737R for a newer set of 773 as they sounded better to me at the time on a Cyrus 2
As far as I know they used TCI cables. IAD GmbH, the german distributor who had the room distributes TCI cables. So that would make sense. www.tcicables.com/
@@hifi-freaks than you very much for the reply, the only issue is that the speaker cables that were used in Munich high end were white, round in shape with a fabric type of jacket and no TCI speaker cable looks like this :-(
