This is one of my all time favourite bands. In my humble opinion they are a most underated jazz group and deserve to be recognised as one of the great piano trios. John Taylor was such a unique and beautiful pianist/composer. If you haven't already, check out their albums. God bless.
The first song claps! This DVD was my jam back in high school and it’s nice someone was able to share it here on RU-vid. To me this is the standard of a good sound Jazz Trio.
The forms they use are perfect in that it all sounds made up in the moment. Purposeful music is really beautiful here. Masters of great sound on their instruments. Three playing as one.
Este contrabajista toca magistralmente el instrumento es el típico contrabajista nórdico , ahora., es imposible por su idiocincracia musical escuchar en sus solos frases desde un soporte hard bop, son eternos pasajes por la línea armónica nunca una frase melódica. De todos modos es un gran contrabajista!
