Peter Fonda ... a living legend.

I bought the 45 of this when it came out, but for the A side, Catch the Wind. I was always hesitant to play B sides because most of them are, well, B sides. But I and my whole family (I had "cool" parents) fell in love with this song. It's poetic imagery, rhythm and alternation between 4/4 and 3/4 time are all original.

I love GP music, and this isn't too shabby like some covers are. But most covers are fine and it's good that these artists are recognizing Gram.

I'm just so surprised. The man could really sing. He had a good voice. If Peter Fonda would have chosen music as a career he would have been a force to be reckoned with. This song captures the spirit of freedom like riding down the road on a Harley

Fonda and Gram Parsons co-wrote this song. Never heard it but it's pretty cool. I like the brass and acoustic guitars.

Working on a new DJset for this fall, I came over Yoko Ono`s new version of Give Peace A Chance to find "Frieden, Mr. Peppermint" and listened thankfully to this song provided by some of your fans. As for the "Tijuana Brass" comment, the TJB were cool too, but the trumpet on these two side sounds like Hugh Masekela (he co-produced both sides), and there are no credits , it's probably him playing in that loose, slightly off-tone way of his. A lot of sixties pop was overproduced with orchestras and such, but this record is sublime. I still have the 45. It sounded poor when I bought it, and sounds worse now. I will seek out the Nuggets CD. Thanks so much.

No disrespect to Peter fonda the actor from "Easy Rider 1969" not only acted, but he also wrote, produced, sang and recorded music-songs. " I couldn't stop laughing" when I heard his vocals on this tune on the the L.A. Nuggets cd boxed set 3 yrs ago. How Duh! Duh! Duh! and HA! HA! HA! About two yrs ago, on y-tube someone claiming to be the real "Peter Fonda" told me that he didn't write this song "November Night" and said" don't believe what you read-hear."

The music really drowns out his voice. At least he tried.
