What a wonderful show Peter had in Paris ! I can't wait to see him when he comes to Chicago in September. The new music is great and I still feel comfort and bliss when I listen to Peter's songs. Thank God we have Peter Gabriel !
Ive seen Peter Gabriel, and his awesome band, in Amsterdam Ziggo Dome 2023. His voice was still awesome, his energy grand, beautiful new songs, and the good old famous songs. I've enjoyed it immensly ! It was an awesome show ! I love Peter for 'bringing me home' 💝💝💝💋💋💋
OooooOOOOOOOOO!!!! At 59:14 the guitarist is playing the riff a half step SHARP!! Until he notices it like, 6 seconds later, and even looks up at Tony Levin and is cracking up with him… personally I LOVE little things like that, when it’s a band with incredible musicians, bc even the best of the best make mistakes and the correction process/recovery is always fun to watch lol

@bcuser2 I know. Would it kill him to just perform 1 Genesis song that he wrote the lyrics for, preferably frm The Lamb?!!? But PG is a very stubborn individual. I thought he might join in on the very last concert that Genesis performed for just one last song, but No-o-o-o, he had to stick to his principles. Though, he did sing the opening lyrics of Dancing w/The Moonlit Knight at the last concert w/Sting. So, why couldn't he do the same w/Genesis?!!?
Belle orchestration comme d habitude ... mais tous les titres sont ralentis ... l energie c'est perdue ... comme le show plus convenu éclairages etc ...
c'est le minimum que j'aurais du voir si Bercy n'avait pas une logistique spectateurs aussi déplorable... payer presque 200 euros en orchestre carré or et pratiquement ne rien voir de la scène, quelques photos flous au prix de contorsions à gêner les autres, et ne même pas voir du tout des écrans géants quand tout le monde était debout... la logique voudrait qu'on paye plus qu'en gradins on bénéficie d'une visibilité meilleure, ce qui aurait permis d'oublier un accueil pas à la hauteur des espérances 😡😡 occasion loupée de voir mon idole Tony Levin, rêve brisé, j'en suis et resterai inconsolable... 😭😭 recommandé envoyé à l'Arena, on va voir ce qu'ils vont répondre...
Nothing wrong with the hits BUT... Just as his genius brain is aging, changing, thinking about different things and by those natural processes, he has a different outlook on life than he did when he was younger. And so,.. so must his music change too. I love the new material... It's been too long a wait, but it delivers all that Peter Gabriel goodness nonetheless.
Soit vous n"avez pas eu le plaisir d'assister au concert, soit vous n'avez pas pris la peine de visionner cette vidéo, car Tony Levin utilise toujours le Chapman stick ,certe moins qu'avant, mais il l'utilise , par exemple sur Road to Joy . Quand à utiliser le terme de soupe¨ pour sa musique, c'est vraiment un manque de respect pour son travail👎
PG a 73 ans. Ses goûts ont évolué et il ne peut pas chanter comme à la période 78-83 ( c'est tout simplement impossible ). Quand on devient plus âgé, on a naturellement plus la même "rage" sur scène ( valable pour tout le monde, même pour les gens du metal ). Comme sa voix est plus douce ( et a perdu force et tessiture ), les chansons ( surtout les récentes des 3 derniers albums) et donc les orchestrations live suivent naturellement cette voix.
PG s'est perdu dans la world music depuis une trentaine d'années. Son dernier grand album est So. Depuis il entretient son fond de commerce, comme tant d'autres.
Tout à fait d'accord avec vous concernant la world music; pour moi son meilleur album de loin est le second hélas sous-coté et dont il n'a pratiquement joué aucun morceau dans ses tournées. Biko chez Gabriel est le Follow you Follow me de Genesis !!
@@TheHunter55182He did perform On The Air during his 1st 2 Solo Tours, of course, but like you said, not a single one from that 2nd album ever since. I think b/c it was his least successful album.
Concert ultra décevant et hors de prix, 150 la place pour rien voir et un son ultra pourri, nul de nul, Accor Arena, plus jamais, c’est scandaleux Je ne ferai plus jamais de gros concert, c’est du vol
En effet, sur la vidéo, on sent que le son est assez merdique et que l'effort a porté sur scène sur l'éclairage, les projections vidéos et les effets spéciaux. La régie est un métier, peut-être que le staff technique loué par l'Accor Aréna n'était pas à la hauteur de l'événement...? Par contre, 150 balles pour ça, c'est clairement du vol 😂
@@daviddevilliers2828 Et pourtant je suis un fan de la première heure de Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett, Phil Collins et Tony Banks...ah j'allais oublier l'excellent Mike Rutherford et son groupe "Mike and the Mechanics". Le POPB n'est plus ce qu'il était on dirait 😃✌
