I've lost monetization on this channel which I've had for over 18 years with no reason given for what I've done wrong. I rely on income from RU-vid to help pay my bills as I no longer work due to health issues and losing monetization on my main channel has cut my income from RU-vid by about 70%. I was on disability but that ended in early 2023 when I turned 65. I can't reapply for monetization until Sept. 15th. but I think this channel is done.

Peter Gabriel is 74 years old. Amazing. When you see what age has done to some artists of his era, he's somehow been able to retain all the qualities that made him such a unique and talented artist in the first place. Great stuff

Peter Gabriel has become one of my all time favorites in the last few months. I have gotten into his entire solo catalog and have recently been listening to his work with Genesis. Excellent musician and songwriter. Larry, I highly recommend you check out his new music on the upcoming i/o album. Thanks and take care

Hi Larry. I was lucky enough to see him in Vancouver in 1993 on his "Secret World" tour. Was a fantastic concert as he was in top form as usual as was his band. He finished with "Biko" which was incredible. He still sounds great! Peter always had an amazing voice and his has aged very well.

Well, Solsbury Hill is a light song, nearly marching masterpeice. But if you ask Peter Gabriel to sing Sweet Child Of Mine I bet he won't be happy to get in that kind of trouble.🙃

I'll be seeing him in September at Madison Square Garden. Never saw him before. Should do a review on how Roger Daltrey's voice sounds now. I saw him last year and he still sounded great.

Axl style isn't easy to sustain into older age whereas Peter's style is easier hence why Peter still sounds good by comparison. And I can't see one trying to sing like the other either.

Peter Gabriel was always a strong singer. AR was not all that good even in his prime, in my opinion, so i guess that's why he sounds pretty bad now. Robert Plant is another great singer who has made changes to how he sings as he gets older. It means we can still get great pleasure and excitement from the music in a live setting.

I love Peter Gabriel, and don't think Axl sound very good these days. But still, there is a big difference in the type of songs these 2 artists sings. Not sure how good PG would sound doing Welcome to the jungle ;)

I've never been a fan of Peter Gabriel or Genesis Larry,I'm not into all the theatrics and coming on stage dressed like a flower and stuff like that,it's the music for me or at least the bands personalities,I really don't care if Gabriel secretly wants to be a plant or whatever,in this modern world that's nothing new! Not quite as up to date. He was once made up as a monkey (on the Album 4 tour). Had on a muscle suit for Steam. That was it (I think) in his solo career.

If it makes you feel any better. Axel Rose has never been a good singer, even though he supposedly has a huge vocal range... I don't think he's ever sounded good. Slash is also seriously overrated... Duff, however, is a genius for investing in Microsoft back when they were a fledgling company. Lol.

I couldn’t understand what Peter Gabriel was saying and the song was boring but I suppose we like what we like and objectivity goes out the window. The band sounded good although the music was repetitive. As for any comparisons to GnR or Axl, it’s totally different music but for me GnR have more energy and I prefer the kind of music they play to the music Peter Gabriel plays. I do have his first two or three albums, which have no titles from memory, and I had So but I can’t get into his music. Sorry.
