u can see how the opponent did good at the start but peter knew how to play him reducing his attack hence in the end the opponent was struggling

Gade needs to look like he is trying his best, otherwise his opponent would look bad. C’mon people - Gade is a legend. He has professionalism, sportsmanship and tonnes of experience. His choice of shots compared to those of his opponent’s says everything. 🙂

David Snider is over 30 in this exhibition match. He's moving lightning quick for that age. Looks like he's in his early 20s to me.

Peter is 43 himself. I dont think there is anything particularly impressive about someone in their 30s playing badminton well. Your fitness does not drop like a landslide between your 20s and 30s if you keep your self exercised and focused.

The Canadian is David Snider, retired in 2011 at #124 with 38 wins and 23 losses.

@@andrewcannon587 I'm not surprised at all, in my local club some of the best players are in their 60s and 70s. In fact, the best singles player I've ever played against was 70 and he could outrun most of the younger ones. It's all about experience and knowing when and where to run on the court.

ㅋㅋ상대선수 진짜 이 악물고 하네요 시범경기인데 왜 저렇게까지 하나 싶기도 하지만 본인의 우상과 경기 해볼 수도 있는 몇없는 기회이니 열심히 하는 모습 보기 좋네요ㅎㅎ 그거에 맞춰서 정말 같이 최선을 다해주는 피터도 참 멋진 레전드네요 (그 와중에도 현역을 이겨버리는 그는 대체..)

Gade not at his best and he seemed slower. This clip is 2015 Winnipeg when he was 38 (old for a top player who retired in 2012.)

시합처럼 넘 열심히 하는데 레젼드는 레젼드 어느정도 맞혀 주면서 공격 위주의 겜을 안하니 랠리가 이어진듯^^* 피터도 이런 자식이 있나 생각했을듯 시범 경기를 해야하는데 상대선수가 에너지를 100프로 해서 달려드니 ***

The guy in white is playing with his throttle to the floor and taking more risk than he usually take. He plays like it's his only chance to play world ranker, which it probably is. Peter Gade is playing his usual tempo and speed taking into account his age.
