Ik kwam een youtube filmpje van Peter Gordijn tegen. En er ging een wereld voor mij open...door hem ben ik Cursus in wonderen gaan lezen. Daarnaast de interviews van Patrick Kicken gaan kijken...en vele boeken verder...Het is af en toe frustrerend maar ik ben vooral dankbaar. Het is een mooie ontdekkingstocht. Dank jullie wel!

Ons 'ego' (zoals dat de laatste decennia populair genoemd wordt, daarvoor bestond het woord niet in de zin zoals nu steeds door iedereen gebezigd) is een resultaat van een werking in onze geest die alleen in onbewustheid plaatsvindt: IDENTIFICATIE. Ons geestelijk instrument dat hiervoor verantwoordelijk is heet in de Veda's 'Ahankara'. Het koppelt Aham (Ik Ben) aan Kara (iets). Kortom: hierdoor ontstaat 'Ik ben iets' waardoor al het 'niet-iets' op dat moment opponent wordt en dus een gevoelservaring van dualiteit doet ontstaan. Identificatie = hechting. Hechting aan iets creëert 'ego'. Zonder die hechting hebben we nog steeds een persoonlijkheid (verworven) en een persoonlijke essentie (natuur, aangeboren). Hiermee 'zijn wij' en 'handelen wij' in de wereld. Zonder identificatie zijn we volop in de wereld, maar niet meer ván de wereld. Dan zijn wij in feite ego-loos, steeds voor zolang als het duurt ;-) . Ego is innerlijke schaduw, veroorzaakt door niet-bewust-zijn, veroorzaakt door het obstakel 'identificatie' (hechting). Neem het obstakel weg door er het Licht van Bewustzijn op te laten vallen, en wég is de schaduw. Dus: verlicht hetgeen je klein maakt (want als je het ene z.g. 'bent', kun je al het andere al niet meer zijn). Hierin is onze Buddhi, ons Onderscheidingsvermogen, ook een geestelijk instrument van ons, van ultiem belang: dit maakt alle onderscheid tussen Waar/Werkelijk en onwaar/onwerkelijk. Het wordt onze "Poort naar innerlijke Wijsheid" genoemd. Maar misschien kan ik het hele verhaal eens voor jouw camera doen? Dan kunnen al onze geestelijke organen eens worden bekeken, en hiermee hun eigenlijke én hun oneigenlijke (verkeerde) werking Dit laatste is oorzaak van veel ongeluksgevoel, maar ook van een hoop spraakverwarring in de z.g. spirituele wereld. Veel wordt in video's gezegd over het 'Wat'? En dan worden er mooie horizonten voorgespiegeld en wijze teksten of personen geciteerd.... Ik ben iemand die graag vertelt over het 'Hoe?' @@anokatomichali Ego is a greek word for me/ sense of self..Freud spoke of the ego/id/ superego..Just because people dont have a lable, doesnt mean they dont have the concept or feeling..Eastern society is said to be more of a group consciousness, but perhaps that's just expression; bring them to the west and they are ensconsed in ego based behaviour just like everyone else. So funny, we love the idea of having no body, no sense of i as he says.. and being one with everything.. yet from what i understand, people in spirit want desperately to come to a place like this..it's in a body that you get the chance to develop. For me, i had certain experiences which led me to wish to be "there", but i know now the challenge is to bring "heaven" here. The challenge is not equal for all as some come into this world with certain awareness, others had body challenges or mental challenges, or psychological. he says" mind blowing, life changing.." in English. Can you not say that in Dutch(I was born in Australai to Dutch parents)? I haven't used these kind of drugs, but have had the experience of being aware of everything being alive..and also a "bliss" for 5-6 days, which i chose to come back to not seeing the wood for the trees. Just listening to him.. yes mine was precedented by an absolute surrender. Often people would speak of surrender, but having done it, you know they DID NOT lol! Indeed it is my endeavour to do so.. but thoughts of taking care of animals and family comes up, even though I KNOW that still happens. What he says at 19 minutes.. ys, that is god lol.. There is an Australian man (Roger Castillo) with a similar world view, but he does speak of God, as many do. No i don't have a God as a man view as my catholic mother told me of. Lol about the helicopter..and the focus required.. definitely lol. i like what he says about death, that he's not trying to make unilateral judgments.. That's the thing about nonduality, this could be a perspective, an experience that is transient, even if it is 40 yrs or more.
