１５年前から好きだった音源です。 ずっと探し求めてた！！！！ 数ある中から わたしの記憶にあるGealforceを探してました。 やっと、やっとこさ辿り着けました。 ありがとうございます。 この演奏を求めてたので 出逢えた瞬間、崩れ落ちました😂 この曲が吹けるような楽団ではなかったけど いつか こんな演奏してみたいと 思い続けてました。 ありがとうございます。

IMHO the best Gaelforce on RU-vid. Can't help but being blown away every time I listen to this.

I LOVE this piece. Love to hear it. Love to play it. Love to dance to it like an idiot when nobody is watching. It fills me with energy every time.

Such a fine band in its day!

For me, the 1st movement was a tad too fast (for the sake of clarity) but the depth and richness of sound in the basses during the 2nd movement is magnificent. The pause at 3.30 is delightfully interpreted. I loved the 3rd movement, and the 'flourish' section for the cornets in the middle of the movement (5.20) was so precise; I've never heard any recording with this bar played so clearly. Loved it!

for those saying its too fast... the Rocky Road to Dublin is no slow song.

Beautyfull piece, but also difficult to play very well, because the high speed in part 1 and 3. Part 2 is very beautyful in his sound. For the alto sax score (fanfare orchestra) in part 1 and 2 it will takes a few hours to practice. 😉
