Peter really is a great interpreter of songs in Swedish and English. This is a terrific version of a difficult song. If you compare this to some of the efforts in the BBC Radio2 tribute to Abba last summer, well there is no comparison! Well done Sweden for recognising a great group ny bringing together a great group of singers like Peter for this tribute!
The thing all of the singers missed in this show - perhaps only the girls singing Bang a Bommerang did - is the magic is based on two (fantastic) female voices and their intertwining, forming a third voice. It just misses the original punch of Frida and Agnetha together...
And I just have to point out that Lasse Wellander is the greatest ABBA-guitarist of all time. Although he gpt one fingertop chopped awa in a car door. But as I have senn he is totally fit now, As for Jöback, he´s has an amazing voice and should never sing rock. That is the form of music he never be able to do. And I hope he changes his mind and will record of musical melodies again.
