Fabulous does not even begin to describe this couple, They know some of the lyrics, but they listen to Peters interpretation and really enjoy his version. I take my hat off to them, they are such a lovely couple.

Glad I'm not entirely alone - I always heard 'Death Throe Hard-on two minutes too late' when Ironic first came out... Took me a while to see the lyrics and get that 'oh!' moment - though I'll maintain that what I heard also suits the song and is a tad edgier (no pun intended) than 'Death Row Pardon'.

Just for clarity, Michael Jackson was due to be performing 50 concerts at the O2 between July 13th 2009 and March 6th 2010, Unfortunately, he passed away 3 weeks before the first concert date. Peter Kay's stand-up tour took place between November 2010 and April 2011, including 15 sold out shows at the O2, London. Peter is referring to the fact that Michael died but should have been performing there a year or 18 months prior. So he "...should 'ave been on 'ere" but not on the same night - it's an internet myth that keeps getting repeated...
To give some context, this was done just after Michael Jackson died, it was filmed at The O2 arena where Jackson was due to be playing a string of gigs, Peter Kay was playing the nights Jackson should have played. I think I've got my facts correct on that little lot, but I'm old and share the same recreational habits as yourselves so I could just be talking bollocks.
