Peter Max: Dale Earnhardt's Most Controversial Paint Scheme 

For decades. Dale Earnhardt was all too familiar with BRAND IDENTITY. His Intimidating Black, Red, and Silver paint scheme connected to him with NASCAR fans alike. But prior to the 1995 All Star Race, people were surprised to see the "Silver Select" roll off the hauler. This scheme eventually sparked the idea of special paint schemes and further strengthened the Dale Earnhardt Marketing Monopoly. Nothing would compare, however, to Dale Sr's look for the 2000 All Star Race. With the brush of Peter Max, The Intimidator would drive his most controversial paint scheme to date.
