No matter who’s in the green jersey, I’ve always seen peter as Ireland’s captain. He’s never gives anything less than 100% and is a beautifully humble and dedicated player who’s execution of the basics of rugby is 2nd to none. Legend of the sport
You gotta love Peter, he looks like a lad that could rip yer head off and shove it up your arse in 2 seconds flat if you pissed him off.! He's an absolute work horse for Ireland but he doesn't get the praise he deserves, in fact he's only one of very few Irish players that had a good world cup this year.!

Warrior? Pity he’s only a warrior against second tier nations. Always seems to go missing against the top sides. Grabbing other players by the jersey and making an angry face doesn’t make him a great rugby player. Might be important to Munster but we’ll down the pecking order for Ireland.

He's not praised enough in my opinion, he worked like a horse in the world cup and he was one of the best Irish players this year, for me he's probably the best number 6 in the world.
