I'm not ashamed to tell that i prefer this version to the Disney's one.I grew up with this underrated movie Edit:And by seeing how the Disney remake looks like, we can still agree that this movie is the best live action Peter Pan.
My God. Just remembering that line, I got goosebumps and had the most certain belief as a child that I would have taken his hand and never turned back... The forget them line, I mean.
My love for this comment is endless. I get chills every time when I watch that part in the movie, and especially when I listen to this song of the soundtrack.
i believe i can fly to neverland in dreams where noone will ever find me and i wont have to worry of growing up and stay in neverland forever and live in neverland forever having lots of fun with krishna and everyone else such as my grandpa and my dog.
@105588424741920009918 I dunno, Peter Jackson's King Kong was damn good. And what a coincidence because James Newton Howard also did the music for that one.
"Come with me and you'll never...never have to worry about grownup things again." "Never is an awfully long time..." It would be wonderful to say they made it to the Nursery on time. But then, there'd be no story :)

I always used to make sure my window was a little bit open as a child, I genuinely believed Peter Pan would take me to Neverland. Was more heart broken learning Peter Pan wasn't real then I was with Santa Clause. Now Peter Pan influences my artwork. Using this soundtrack to accompany my painting.
But Who says Peter pan isn't real? Everything is possible, and if people can believe in God without a proof just because it's written in the bible, why should we stop believing that there is a Peter pan out there, or fairies, or mermaids. Nobody has a proof that they don't exist, so for me he is real. And I will tell my future kids about his adventures, so they can have the same joyful childhood as I had.
the minute 0:42 it makes me nostalgic that even today after almost twenty years I can't explain. unfortunately this film has not received the right attention. but guys .. they don't know what they're missing! soundtrack and films full of lightheartedness and joy. I'm glad I was lucky enough to be able to grow up with genres of films, the same as this one, gorgeous in every aspect!!!
2:25 I remember always looking out from my window and staring at the sky as this music played in my head. I truly believed that there is a world waiting for me somewhere out there, and tbh a part of me never let go of that. I'm 20 now and oh boy does this bring back memories.
There's a reason James Newton Howard will always be my favorite composer. His knowledge of how to hold the listener's attention by creating musical masterpieces, especially for children's films (though his Hunger Games music and Lady in the Water music will be cherished among his other work.) I especially like the dramatic, yet light-hearted build-up in this particular song to the boom of the timpani and the angelic voice of the choir. Just....yes!
@@alyeska9849 thanks man, honestly it could one of my siblings using my account to comment here. Or I just really don't remember, anyways I appreciate you welcome me
It pains me to know that my childhood will not return, I wish I had not grown up and stayed with peter bread in my dreams. This music makes me get nostalgic but with a smile in my mouth
At 2:25 the music makes me wanna cry so hard like how perfect it is and this is the part were Peter Pan flew to the sky after windy kissed him :’) who agrees?
That is definitely something from my childhood that I remember vividly. At this point I was beginning to think it was just another Mandela effect of something because no one else knew what I was talking about, but you confirmed it was real and now I'm thankful for this comment! So...thank you! 😊
Always loved this film. Now when i look back at it, it's weird how the special effects are bad compared to today but it doesn't take away from how magical and amazing it is. Childhood film! Soundtrack was always one of my favs
I recently rebought this movie on blu ray and I was sad to see how the effects were so different as a child. I would give anything to see an almost exact remake of this movie in today’s technology of movie making. Still though, this will always be my favorite movie of all time because of how magical it feels, the sound track makes it so perfect too
The effects don't hold up, but I can say without a doubt that the art direction is fantastic. It is fantasy after all, and sometimes it can look a bit fake...but it's so well designed you buy into it without caring too much. I just wish I could live in something that looked like a colourful Christmas card...TT^TT
I'm getting married on the 5th of September 2020 and having an enchanted forest magical theme. This song will be played live for the ceremony. 😍 Can not wait!
Omg I hope your wedding will be absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way! I recommend “Fairy Dance” from this soundtrack when you dance with your husband. It’s even more magical! You’re about to live my dream wedding I hope it’s wonderful and your fiancé is everything you want him to be 💓
@@TayNoTaisho aww thank you. Our wedding has had to be postponed to the 21st of August 2021 now. But I have more time to make things for our wedding and lose weight lol. Xxx
@@charlottemckee718 I hope it is gonna be the greatest day in your live! Especally with this pretty theme🥰 Im a german man and watched the movie today... Reminds me of a childhood I never had
Reading the comments has brought me to tears. This movie was so important to my childhood. I actually was jealous that Peter Pan took Wendy and not me!
every time i hear this music i feel and imagine myself flying with peter pan wendy and the boys and everyone else and the music is playing and i dont just see through my eyes i see everything, i see it like a movie with myself in it and other people, wow so beautiful, does anyone else feel the same way?
I believed I was Peter Pan at one point I remember jumping from the top of my stairs to the bottom that’s 14 steps and somehow I’d never hurt myself every time I was fine that was from the age of like 7 to 11 ish and I still think now how did I actually do that certain things I remember that’s like I don’t get it but I’m 20 now
It's a shame this movie doesn't get more attention. I'd call this the definitive movie of the original story, the music's great, the visuals are nice, and it's also dark and gritty.
this movie was released when i was only 4 yrs old, i saw this when i was at elementary, now i'm 22 and still cant get over how this is the most beautiful peter pan movie ever made
You missed alot! Having this as my childhood movie made it still magical, every birthday party was Peter pan themed! And its still my favorite movie!!!!
maleelarauhl :3 I used to have to that movie Peter Pan the movie and uh i saw it many times to and i gave it to a girl i care about her and i said to her you keep it and she can watch it with her family and her name is Hannah Grace McDermott
Sometimes a composer composes the spirit of the film. This is one of those times. He captured the spirit of Peter Pan. Pixie dust doesn’t make you soar… this song does!
I rewatched this movies today and I'm feeling so nostalgic and emotional. The saddest part to me it's after Peter promising never forget Wendy, she says he never came back again, even to listening her stories...😥❤
It’s so magical to see how many people feel as strongly about this movie as I do. I sided to cycle every weekend to rent it , I know every scene, every line every expression of Wendy’s and Peters face. Words can’t describe what this movie meant to me as a kid. I truly believed in fairies. Still so, always will.
Love this movie version of Peter Pan. Steven Spielberg's Hook was good but when you are a kid and a huge Peter Pan fan, seeing Hook made me cry because it was not what I had in mind. I didn't understand it. Next, Jason Isaacs Mr. Darling was simply perfect. His firm, yet anxious portrayal of of him was delightful and funny. As Hook, he really showed how bad Capt. Hook was. Very impatient, desperate and cruel. Being a fan of Jason's (14yrs) I thought his various outfits were smashing, and drool-worthy.(Picture perfect) Also when he did a little homage to his other evil character, Col. Tavington in The Patriot, was a real treat to all of us fans. We were doing happy dances all over. :D After all that, I will say this music is awesome! Puts you right in on the mood of each scene, and makes the adventure even more magical.
Iwish neverland really existed, so I could leave from this world and let all my worries behind. ''Second star to the right and then straight till morning,,
Hands down one of my favorite songs in the world. So so so beautiful and it makes me feel entirely happy deep in my soul when I listen to and cherish it.
