This is the chaotic energy in movies and stories that I thrive for. As someone who's also a story teller and writer, this is the type of energy I love seeing other people share. This would have been such a full 180 in terms of tone for the ending, but it's just so chaotic to **not** love. Disney could never.
I Lmfao when Wendy, John And Michael saw there own Father in the doghouse on top of the carriage and Wendy said “ *Father?!!* “ And then John said “ *Surely* he’s not to go round in a *DOGHOUSE* “ I died at that bit. That bit should’ve been in the film 😂❤️
I was wondering where Mr Darling was all that time while Mrs Darling was sitting in the chair! Now it all makes sense (sort of) This is brilliant ahahah! I guess worry affects people in different ways.
Mr George Darling putting himself in the doghouse is faithful to the book but I’m glad they decided against including this in the final cut. It’s too goofy. Lol Goes to show that what appears to make sense in the book may not necessarily translate well on film. The inclusion of the “I do believe in fairies” scene was brilliant. PJ Hogan really pulled it off.
hmm since hook and mr darling are played by the same actor, does hook emphasize Wendy's fear of growing up at the time? and when she decides to become a pirate she is deciding weither she wants to grow up or not? its just the way i see it.
He is in the dog house because he threw their dog out in the dog house and he thinks that if he’s in the dog house, they’ll come home because their dog is indoors once again, taking care of them.
yeah these scenes were indeed ridiculous but theres one deleted scene i liked w wendys daughter that wouldve been good for like a end credit scene or smth
I'm pretty sure Mr. Darling does this in the original play too. It might be cheesy, but there is so much symbolism in JM Barrie's original play. I like that this movie stuck to a lot of it.
Well this is more like an extended scene that was shortened in the final cut. They took out all the parts showing Mr, Darling going into the dog house, the bank, and the kid’s reaction, but everything else was in the final film.
Why do those Doghouse deleted scenes still make me LMAO after all these years🤣, although I’m starting to wonder why the writer-director: P.J. Hogan ever made those scenes of Mr. Darling staying in a Doghouse all the time before they became deleted scenes in the first place🤔, because those deleted scenes do make me wonder: just WTH was he thinking when he made those doghouse scenes before they became deleted scenes later on🧐🚬.
Because he was trying to be faithful to the source material. Mr. Darling in the doghouse is in the book. However, I’m happy that PJ Hogan’s impeccable directorial instincts in making this movie guided his decision in excluding this scene in the final cut. It would’ve ruined the homecoming scene.
@@siennamargeaux8413 oooooooh😲, okay that explains enough to make sense of why those doghouse scenes were in that Peter Pan 2003 film before becoming deleted scenes in the first place, thank you for actually explaining that to me🤝. That hand shake emoji is actually supposed to be a hand shake-thanks btw.
