Some people will call it either repetitive or uncreative but I love these small allusions and homages to the films. It rewards your loyalty to the franchise. I also really appreciate that they make it different enough to be it's own thing despite the similarities.

There is literally a whole gameplay segment in this game where he almost kills MJ multiple times. I think that’s pretty bad. He quite literally almost kills multiple people because of the symbiote

@@ringer1324 True. But since Peter himself doesn't seem to remember trying to kill MJ, I have to assume that was full Venom behind the wheel. Bully Maguire, while corrupted, was conscious of his actions and one of those actions was to straight up kill Sandman. And judging by his photos as black suit Spiderman, while he didn't kill criminals, he had no problems brutalizing them.
