Although I think the writing might have benefited from a second draft, I thought the technical work, musical choices and atmosphere was fantastic! The jumpscare and ending genuinely unnerved me, great work!
Actually little fun fact this was the third draft of the story. Before i just had it be Duncan getting back at Peter Sam like in the original Duncan get spooked; then to it being Duncan taking Peter Sam to the bridge where the both would see Proteus. I settled on just Peter Sam when me and Suddery were messing one writing night where then boom this version popped out.
Admittedly I was not expecting much from this as most Thomas ghost stories follow the same format but I was presently surprised by how good this was. The engine teleporting to Peter Sam on the bridge spooked me a bit and it was honestly my favourite moment in the video. The jumpscare, in my opinion, felt a bit lacklustre, but other than that this video was great! Especially loved the cinematography! Great work! 💚
I love this video, it tricks you into thinking Proteus was Good then makes you feel true fear at his capabilities. Why did Proteus help Peter Sam in the first place? Why did he give him a Nightmare? We’ll probably never know, unless we get a Sequal next year!
the ending is quite a twist espeshilky knowing in there buffers there not safe from such a ghost becase that ghoste knows where they live meaning if they wanted to they could hant the sheds if they so seeen fit
My Arthur, dumbstruck: "Well i-... ieeee don't think Ol Peepe Sam ain't gunna mess with the paranormal anymore right Murdoch..." "Murdoch?" My Murdoch: *Shaking in fear as he stares ahead* My Arthur: *Looks forward and sees Proteus floating right in front of him* "Aaaaah nuts- :D" *Proteus jumpscare*
I think the ghost got pissed that Peter Sam tried to say he was not real. I think the ghost was telling him yes I’m real and you trying to say I’m not after I pulled you across the bridge is bullshit. Wonder if an engine were to fall of the bridge if the ghost would stop them from falling down if they believed the story
Could use some work, specifically on the pacing of dialogue, its weird when there is no narration, talking, or anything despite hte moment seeming like it would have just that.
I've got a conspiracy theory. Once upon a time, the Mid Sodor Railway and Skarloey Railway were connected via the Mountain Road. This is why in TTTE Skarloey and Rheneas could be seen working on the Mid Sodor in "Granpuff". Still it doesn't make any sense how Duncan appeared in "Bulldog". I think a good title for a story would be "A Spook for Skarloey".
