This man has inspired me to take advantage of everything from training as a goalkeeper. To keep trying because this shows that no ball is impossible to block. He is the real definition why I work so hard to be the best goalkeeper in my team. I wish I was able to meet him in person because this man named Peter has taught me something indirectly.
Michael Laudrup and Schmeichel are my favorites of all time, im from Denmark and they are my inspiration! I didn't live when they played, but by hearing what they did as players and clips from RU-vid, I am truly proud of being Danish!

There's one at 2:40, from the final of Euro 92. Still missing LOTS of great saves and actions from both that tournament and the rest of his national team career.

If you doubt that Schmeichel was the best ever goalkeeper, you haven't been paying attention. He was the foundation of United's dominance of the toughest league on the world. The amount of Premiership points he singlehandedly won with his epic goalkeeping should go down in Premiership history (and he kept Gary Neville on his toes)!
