Great timing! RU-vid never stops amazing me at what all I can find to fix. My truck at work has sprung two leaks from the old coolant tank so they ordered and got in a new one in. But the mechanics have bigger jobs to work on than my truck. So tomorrow I'm gonna jump in and make this switch myself.....thanks to you taking the time to make this video. Greatly appreciate the help
On my car I just opened the cap on the bottle sucked out all the coolant into a clean bowl enough to ware the bottle was empty then I removed the upper lines that were overflow lines and then removed the line to the radiator and made sure too keep that hose up so nothing would spill out. Installed the new bottle installed all the hoses again and put the coolant I took out back in. It was pretty easy that way I didn’t really spill anything
Just did mine on a 2015 kw t680 and my inside top hose did not just simply and easily flow coolant, how or what made yours flow??? We ended up pulling the bottom hose and drained I'm guessing 8 plus gallons out into one of those giant hefty zip lock baggy meant for storing clothes or blankets....which worked decent and then used a cup to pour it back in.
