I just visited there a couple of days ago, and yes it's a real gem! We came from Dallas and drove up from Benton on Hwy 5, then Hwy 9. That drive was incredibly beautiful, and Petit Jean state park was absolutely gorgeous, and as you know, the weather right now is fantastic! We saw most of the things shown in this video, it was so much fun!
Just got back from the area two days ago. Absolutely gorgeous, all the hills/mountains, hiking trails, caves, water areas and the fall itself. Most stunning of all, SUNSETS from different overlooks and viewpoints. Thank you for sharing this, I wish I had encountered this before I went. Anyways, good content and keep up the goodwork. You just gained a new subscriber :)
We stayed there in October 2020 and you are so right! You will not get bored with all the trails to hike. Our 4 year old grandson found a new found love of trail hiking that weekend.
Just visited for our first time on 11/6/21 Beautiful beyond description. The cabin we stayed in was Immaculate and everything we needed, #7.The handiwork of God is everywhere!
As someone from lousiana, it sounds wrong as well, I say it petite jean as if it was french. I've looked it up on Google and found sources saying, yes it is technically not proper but people in Arkansas pronounce it as it is said in the video
Why haven't you went yet?and do jobs pay decent that way? And what is the rent like? I'm thinking about moving that that way. I'm a correctional officer, but probably try and get out of law enforcement maybe go back to driving forklifts.
@@ArkieTravels I am not an expert on the Natural State but had the opportunity of visiting many areas on the NW/W part of the state. I love it. There are many state parks to choose around the buffalo river, I love the area near Gilbert and buffalo point. Can you guys do a video about that area? thanks.
