Petition to Make "BE Album" More Than 8 Songs...Please? (BTS Album Reaction) | Muse Reporter Reacts 

This album wasn't even supposed to happen. So no matter how short it was, the fandom was just happy to receive this gift of comfort from them during the pandemic lol. If you want longer albums, the guys have been making music since 2013. Try the Love Yourself: Tear or WINGS albums XDDD

Actually Dynamite isn't the only #1 on BB Hot100 for BTS. Life Goes On also debuted at #1 on the Hot100. and besides that the BTS remix of Savage Love (Jason Derulo) also went #1 and BTS held #1 and #2 by replacing themselves at #1. But you are still right about how easy it was for dynamite to get big in comparison to life goes on. In the first week of release Dynamite got around 1500 spins (if I remember correctly) and Life Goes On only got about 11 spins at radio stations in the US. So all the points that were needed to make Life Goes On number 1 came mainly from sales. That was a hard battle but we got all the song from the BE album on the Hot 100 chart.

The high note in dis-ease is Jin ! He hits a sustained G5 & even a Bb5 at the end 🤌✨

As much as it hurts my heart to see dis-ease at the bottom (my favorite song on the album) it’s nice to see that you’re giving love to Stay. It hasn’t gotten the love that I think it deserves. The entire album is a masterpiece! They said that each and every songs lyrics are what they were dealing with during this pandemic. The whole album is geared around coronavirus the emotions, and hardships they faced within themselves. One of my favorite BTS albums by far. Wings is still my favorite album to date.

Blue & Grey is definitely one of ARMY favorites, so you're safe to join :D. Also, it's strange to me that people would say Dionysus and Louder Than Bombs are underappreciated in the fandom. For Dionysus, maybe because it's usually hyped up for the live performance, but we don't have an MV, so it makes sense. As for Louder Than Bombs, ARMYs have been crying for a live performance of this song since the release to the point where BTS were made aware of it :D. So, hopefully, we'll get it. I guess it depends where in the fandom you are and what people you follow, but everyone on my timeline was playing clowns before the New Year's Eve show, because they were hoping we'd get LTB performance (spoiler alert, we didn't, BTS were totally trolling us :D). Anyway, I'm actually so surprised by this reaction. Based on your MotS7 reaction, I knew you were gonna like Blue & Grey, but I definitely did not anticipate Stay to be your favorite. This song was actually initially written by Jungkook for his solo mixtape in English, but BTS decided to put it on BE and RM and Jin rewrote the lyrics, so the song is in Korean. Jungkook is really into EDM as far as I can tell. One of his solo songs from BTS' earlier album Love Yourself: Answer is also EDM (it's called Euphoria), though definitely a softer type of EDM than Stay and Mic Drop. Blood, Sweat & Tears also has EDM vibes and the music video for that is probably one of their most visually stunning videos. Similarly as Stay, Blue & Grey was also initially written by V for his solo mixtape and was then adjusted for BE when they decided to put it in. Thank you so much for reacting to this. Actually "Blue and Grey" was written by V himself and was supposed to be a solo for his upcoming Mixtape. He then added it to this album by adding lyrics written by Suga for the Rap Line. He said that he wrote this at his lowest point. Still wishing for a single version on his Mixtape 😁 **** ALSO you can watch color coded lyric videos for each song, on youtube, where you can read lyrics in sync with who us singing what part ****

"fly to my room"'s korean title is actually "the way to travel my room" where they're basically talking about how now their world has been reduced to just their rooms due to the pandemic and how they're seeing it in an optimistic manner. it's got amazing lyrics if you take a good look at them! idk what made you think it's less appreciated in the fandom (cause ik a lot of ppl love this song) but talks about this song might just be a lot less solely because the members have has a huge role in other songs in this album, so those songs might've received more hype

A lot of their albums are pretty short because they put out multiple albums per year. They actually released MOTS: 7 in February 2020, MOT:7 - The Journey (aka MOTS:7 but in Japanese plus 3 new Japanese songs) in July 2020, and BE in November 2020. PLUS during non pandemic times, they put out that many albums AND go on world tours for months at a time. and how all 7 still find time to complete their online higher education classes....is beyond me. I think at least 5 of them right now are working on their master's degree. Jin just graduated recently with his masters.

skit is actually very important! it also kind of divides the album into two, in their earlier years they had a skit in every album so it's also kind of a nod, and like honestly sugas's "************" is iconic, what more to want?, also this album was not meant to exist at all, it only exists because of the pandemic so 7 songs is already pretty good

They have the most diverse discography, anyone can find gems in their bsides whatever type of music or genre you listen to, bts have them all. This album was a blitz. They did what they did best... ADAPT. covid effed everyone up and they put this together and released it QUICK to show love and support to their fans. Im so proud of them.

tip: watch the mv or listen to the music first without lyrics, so u can focus on the production and/or the mv, then watch it with the lyrics... that's how we international fans do it

Stay is my ABSOLUTE favorite in this whole album sir. THANK YOU. FOR THE REPRESENTATION. It was supposed to be part of Jungkook’s solo mixtape project. He produced it and wrote it. It actually has a similar vibe to one of his solo songs on a past album named “Euphoria” which is a really beautiful soft EDM boPPPP. I love how honest you are about your opinions.

the boys whipped out this album on such short notice, 7 tracks a lot when you think about it! this wasn't even in the plans. they only released it cause they ended up having to cancel their tour which led to have more time than they'd liked so they decided to channel their sadness and disappointment into making an album to console armys and casual listeners to be able to get through these difficult times. the skit is sth armys hold dear to our heart as it's sth the boys have been doing since their debut days. it's just a track of them having a friendly conversation with each other, which sets the tone for the album and also acts as a little bit of a pleasant gift for armys.

I adore Dis-ease with every fiber of my being, but it is a messy song, so I get why some people wouldn't like it. It's like a rollercoaster lol I'm actually surprised at how much ARMYs seem to like it, it's so messy I assumed more people were gonna dislike it. Hobi's verse is sooo full of personality, the lyrics are so relatable even outside of the current sociopolitical climate, Hobi's imitating the scratching with his voice is such an iconic move, the bridge is like a shoot of adrenaline... The entire track is like a surreal fever dream, in the best possible way? Idk how else eto describe it lmao Objectively speaking, I do think Blue & Grey and Life Goes On are the best executed (and touching) songs on this album. I am weak for Fly Too My Room though, that funky baseline is just 'my thing'. Makes me happy, you know? Stay was by far my least favorite upon first listen, it just felt plane/low energy (despite being edm) in between Dis-ease & Dynamite. But it's really good if I listen to it by itself. I like how it has this chimery sounds, despite being edm, it has sort of a "fairytale" or dreamy vibe, does that make sense? Like, delicate and wistful.

And honestly, at first I didn't vibe with the dis-ease intro as well (but it eventually grows on you), however when they got to that bridge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MY GOD!!!!!! Blue and Grey is by far one of the most loved songs on the album, but Stay is definitely underappreciated. I'm glad you liked it!

This is why I listen to BTS songs three times when released. Without lyrics. With lyrics. And than Again without lyrics but now having context. There’s just no other way now. Their artistry demands that respect.

I feel the same about the number of the songs in the album too, but the songs are all great and I feel to greedy and selfish for wanting more songs on the album. I was a bit disappointed there wasn’t more songs. But there is a whole reasoning for there being 7 song (for the 7 members) and 1 skit. Also considering the fact this is all about their emotions and feelings during the pandemic... like how many songs can you really write about and correlate to the pandemic before it gets to overdone. Be is like a little time capsule to me and it sums up this period of time greatly. It is like a rollecestor of relatability. Again I wish there were more songs but I’m still ok with their decision of the songs they included. Be is one of my favorite albums from them. Love your reactions bro you are my mood!!!

My rating: 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 For ARMYs it is more than just an album or songs for us. It is always way deeper than that. Especially for this album since they're engaged on its full production. Being a part of it, they let us see and experience the whole process. Another reasons why I'm falling deeply with them.

even tho we got only a mini album this comeback we're not starved as they constantly release new music. suga's mixtape was very recent, we had vocal line covers and songs on soundcloud, we had their japanese album with brand new songs and an mv, we have countless interviews and performances, vlives, run bts (their variety show every tuesday), and rumours of another album releasing very soon. this was an album that had their hands most in all aspects. its literally THEIR album. even tho a lotta the songs may not be in my top 10 its still an album rly close to my heart. it always comforts me. the boys need a break they've released like 3 albums really close to each other and the dynamite promotions were never ending its pretty much still going on cs of its massive popularity

When i first listen to stay.. i was got so off guard by that song's production.. i started jamming to that song right away.. Just found your videos, watching this one after your MOTS7 video. Only because I haven't seen anyone else point it out, but that really high note after the bridge in Dis-ease was sung by Jin. He also did the high note after the bridge in We Are Bulletproof: the Eternal, and did the two high notes in the last chorus of Dionysus - the one at 3:26 and then very last one where it goes high and slides to low.

BTS collectively released like 58 songs last year im fine with getting MOTS7 and BE in the same year lol dont want to be too spoiled

Yes they have done concerts on line. Their concerts sell out 90 thousand in minutes their on line concerts are as successful. They are number one in the world. Hope you watch them live and their videos like watching you.

The album was a gift for fans during Covid since all concerts and such were cancelled. It wasn't supposed to happen it was something they on their own decided to do. Also was completed made by members from start to finish so it was truly precious to us and them.

Well... Life Goes On get no 1 in BB Hot 100 too. The reason why BE has 7 songs, because they did not plan to make BE. They were supposed to be touring in 2020. But thanks to covid their tour get cancelled. So they made this album as a journal of their feelings (which a lot of us can relate too). My openion : the reason why skit was in the middle because first half of the album is sad, melancholic (which was BTS's mode), then they release Dynamite to cheer ARMY up and it get lot of love, went no 1 in BB... BTS realized they can not stay sad and had the cheer everyone up, connect with their fans through music. This turning point of mood is the skit ( Things started to get clearer in their mind, they pick themselves up) and thus the second half is more upbeat, hopeful. I really appreciate you loving Blue and Grey and Stay... both are kinda of opposite in moods, but the fact that you gave both 10, speak you are a party animal and sad b**** combined.
