Thank you for this. I've been starved for some content from my favorite fighter. I think Merab is the only "real" loss of his imo and I think he will bounce back strong. Much love from America!

Although this is a great interview, I do not agree with the theory that Petr has poor strategy. He was injured in the Merab fight and arguably beat O’Malley. Thank you for posting my favorite fighter Petr.

As i can see peter yan hasn't changed nor adress his poor wrestling skills. He needs to be training day after day in Dagestan, he had striking skills no doubt about that. But his ego doesn't let him train with the best grapplers. This is his downfall and i dont think will see him fighting for the belt ever again. I hope im wrong, but i dont think so.

Aljo only landed 2 out of 22 takedown attempts against Yan in their rematch, while Merab only landed 11 out of 50 takedown attempts. So idk what the fuck you’re talking about.

He took down sterling 7 or 8 times in their first fight. Merab got defended like 40 times. Merab was taking cejudo down. Yans takedown defense is good not poor
