Ten years on and Kvitova is beloved by tennis, not simply for her dominant displays on court, but the way she has overcome all the odds off it, too. A horrendous incident that almost robbed Petra of her life, and very nearly ended her career, tested her metal in a way that Grand Slam finals never could.
