While attending the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta we had time to explore some of the National Parks in Albuquerque. Petroglyph National Monument is made up of three different trails within a close proximity to each other where you can view up to 20,000 identified and verified petroglyphs dating 400-700 years old made by Native Americans and Spanish explorers and settlers.

This place has a strong resonance energy discontinuity that made walking extremely tiring for me. It may well be what attracted the ETs and Natives. Strange rock art. In the Arequipa Region of Peru Toro Muerto also has masses of strange rock art.

I can only guess you were here for the International Balloon Fiesta, and the annular eclipse. We live right by the petroglyphs. Other than water and good walking shoes/boots please wear sunscreen. You’re at a higher altitude and can burn very quickly. The big rules are 1. Don’t touch anything! We don’t need people wearing away the images. And, don’t pick up rocks, or disturb them. 2. Take all the pictures you want, but don’t don’t leave any new marks. 3. Don’t litter. What ever you bring in, you must take out with you. Enjoy the petroglyphs, and don’t hesitate to talk to any of the park rangers if they’re there. They love to answer questions.
