Petzl Chicane Auxiliary Brake - David Ricks' TreeStuff Customer Video Review 

I like the non-bias review. It's helpful to hear both the pros and cons of these devices. I'm older and bought most of the fancy Petzl hardware and haven't regretted it yet. That said, they're aren't many 57 year olds out there who are just learning to climb. No, I don't plan to cut huge trees and having no problem picking and choosing my work. I already have a client base from a former landscaping company and obviously that helps. Again, thanks for your many reviews online.

I'd like to know how it deals with branch walking? I use the zig zag with rope wrench and find it is too much friction for when you've not got all your weight on the device

What about using it with a prusik and hitch climber pulley??

where would you attach a chest harness on the zigzag with out the 2nd hole?
