I just followed the steps in this video and can I just say it worked wonderfully!! I didnt have the string to the parcel shelf but it was already released anyway thankfully! What a brilliant easy to follow clear video! I didnt even need a second person, just hopped on the back seat for a bit of extra height and lifted it myself! surprisingly Heavier than I expected so be careful there guys x thankyou for posting such a lifesaving video! (ps my roof now is functioning perfectly again too)
Auch mir hat dieses Video sehr gut geholfen. Ich war auch so 4:08 schlau und habe den automatischen Schließmechanismus abgebrochen, weil ich die Gummidichtungen reinigen und pflegen wollte. Danach ging nichts mehr außer piep...piep...piep...piep😢😢😢. Dank dieses mittlerweile jahrealten Videos konnte ich das Dach manuell schließen. Danach funktionierte es auch automatisch wieder. Vielen Dank 👍👍👍
Was afraid I damaged my roof last time when I opened it manually.... thank God (and poster ;) ) for this video! Did the stuff mentioned from 3:00 onwards and it's opening and closing automatically again like charm. OF COURSE the 206cc manual "forgets to mention" those steps, instead replacing them with "go to PEUGEOT dealer and let him fix it." ;)
yeah.. if you close manually and don't have a very annoing fault, when the trunklid is closed and the 206 is in coupè configuration, try to do the electrical close of the roof.. the trunklid will go in the regular locking position, avoiding the annoing beeps because the trunklid isn't properly closed and result like open
This video really worked. After 4 hours with a professional we still got stucked. But watching this clip solved all the problems with closing the rooftop manually within 15 min :)
Thanks it helped me yesterday......I decided to leave it halfway closing to clean the inside rear window.....it would not work again...the manual does not explain this procedure at all it says seek your local dealer to pay probably £200 plus got the privilege of the dealership doing it for you...it took 5 minutes and is fully working electronically again thankfully.....thought I'd blown the motor and proper fuked it!!!!!thanks...
Just fixed a two year old non working roof with this video, sometimes it must just need a reset to sort it out, worth trying if ur roof wasn't working like ours
Bit of advice incase some other dumb blonde like myself has to attempt manually closing the roof........take keys out of boot because if you dont your key will snap in the lock like mine, but hey the roof is closed lol

I have problem, when i wanted to close roof , roof was back in normaln position but trunk stay opened...so i just pull him down and now i cant open roof manually and it's beeping..help ?
seems a problem of an actuator of the roof for the folding pos.... must check the switch under the parcel shelf and the 2 piston actuator for determinate the position of the roof... if that is folded in the trunk or closed in coupè mode
Sasa Dudca привет! Открывал крышу, багажник открылся, крыша спряталась, но багажник отказывается закрываться. Звук работающей помпы слышен, но багажник стоит на месте. Обратно крыша тоже поднимается, но багажник также не опускается в конце. При этом если немного надавить на него, он потихонечку опускается без кнопки. В чем может быть проблема? Спасибо!
При нажатии на опускание крыши, опускаются только окна и дальше ничего не происходит.звуковыз сигналов нет ,так как нет динамика)если ещё нажимать на кнопку крыши , то слышно щелчки реле в багажнике Как быть?
Brilliant step by step guide on this video (it's helped) but what if you've closed the roof and there's a bleeping when you drive it??? And yes I've got my seat belt on. How can I stop it?? Any clues? Thanks
HI I'm sending this from Australia. The roof is retracting into the boot but last week when closing it again it doesn't completely close leaving a half inch gap into the lock position above the driver and passenger sides. Then the beeping noise doesn't stop even after it is closed and locked when I get over 15kms an hour! Before it used to have a shorter beep when it was retracted in position or in the closed position. Now the bloody beeping noise just doesn't stop! Do you think a reset like the video would stop this? My roof pump is broken and my windows don't go down. I took my roof down manually but now the lid is not locking. I can hear a beep while driving all the time. Any solutions?
ECU roof programmation.. the ECU is programmed to lower the windows every time that the car must pass from cabriolet to coupè mod or viceversa.... and sadly, the windows don't come back to the previously position
I need som help! I managed to do the manual closing but now it won’t open electronically again. I had to close the cab because I switched off the car mid when trying to put on the roof. Anyone has any tips to get it off electronically?
damn... try to put the car in cabrio mode manually.. re-tight the pressurization valve and try to close the roof in the electrical mode... by the way.. i hope that u don't have any oil leak from the piston of the rear parcel shelf or other.. because with a low level of mineral oil in the reservoir tank... the pump will suffer... clearly udible respect to normal sound
I folloved the steps in this video and everything is ok but my trunk stay open all time on that manually locking position(2:42 video) and its beeping when i drive..how to get this lock like(1:28 video)..sorry for my bad english...tnx
yes.. the beeping is an alert because the roof isn't properly closed due to a depressure of the hydraulic system.. that's the way because in the video tell to go to a Peugeot service.. by the way... if the car is in coupè mode, with the handle unlocked and the windows are lowed and the trunklid isn't completely closed, with the tightenn bolt closed... so.. hydraulic system in pression, press the button in closing position... and the trunk will completely closed and that annoing beep will disappear
Hi good morning i was wondering if any of you lovely people can help me, my partner took the roof bk yesterday, then a hr or so later tried to put it bk up but nothing - we watch the video which i must say if far better than info in the book ;) but still my boot lid has not latched down securely, i have started the car and thought that the roof button would just go thro opening the roof or fin off secure lid but nothing, turn engine on press roof button and it just bleeps at me, and ideas to solve this would be very greatfull..thanks in advance.
@@lcmimic5818 manually... the string isn't necessary... follow the video, with the system depressurized, push the parcel shelf with a hand and after close the roof

YZFR1mart mine was working. 2003 206cc sport. went to put it down today and all it did was beep. check pole in boot and switch is clicking. the boot lock one though when I'm pushing on the silver arms connected to the switch the boot light is coming on. although no light on when opening the boot . is that a tricked sensor?
duane ralph if that's the one your suspect then your half way there :-) look at the boot latch on the car not on the boot. there is a black lever inside which gets pushed down when the boot is closed. push it down with a pen or similar so you know what I mean. it moves down when pushed then back when released. look on the right hand side of the latch and you should be able to push the black lever down from the top then wedge it down from the side with a pen lid for example. if this works, your micro switch lever is bent a bit too far. take latch apart and bend it a little to the opposite way it's pressed.
